Overstock.comReviews of overstock.com

Totally dissatisfied with the service received from Overstock.com. I ordered 3 items from them, they only sent 1 and refuse to give me a refund for the items not shipped and showing as delayed. Please do not order from this company as they are a rip off.

Ordered a coffee and console table. I received my order incomplete and damaged. Customer service is very poor. I would buy from somewhere else if I was you. Very overpriced for the quality of products too.

Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing a dining room set. Purchased on 5/5. Expected delivery 5/14. As of 5/21, you have to block out a whole day for delivery, they won't take it inside and you have to be there to sign for it. What?!! Walmart recently left some patio furniture at my door and on time. Tried to contact customer service and was told my wait time is over 2 hours. Avoid at all costs!

I'm giving Overstock.com a one star because I had to put at least one to be able to write this review , but they deserve zero stars . . Overstock has the WORST customer service. They messed up my order big time and I ou can't get in touch with anyone to solve it . . I recommend going to another online site as overstock is horrible. . Save yourself a huge headache . .

Never buy from this scammers. Place the order on April 27th, they claim they shipped the package on May 4th but the USPS tells me the shipping label was created on that date and as of today, May 21st, the package is on the same status. Cannot talk to anybody like CS people cannot work from home during the pandemic but they sure took my money and hidden a fee to sign me up for becoming a member of the club? This scammers should be investigated by the FBI but I guess they are busy interfering in our elections.

I had a pretty good experience with Overstock ordering two rugs delivered to Australia. Thought I'd let everyone know timings etc so they know what to expect in relation to good and not-so-good parts of the experience: 1. Ordered the rugs, with payment going through a fedex cross border payment portal after which I did not get a confirmation email and had no record of the order in my account (at which point freaked out and saw all these bad reviews and feared all my money had just been lost) 2. Order showed up in my account the next day with estimated delivery date (this was the estimated date the item will be deliverd to fedex distribution centre) but I still had no official confirmatioin email or payment breakdown record from the fedex portal 3. 5 days after ordering got shipping notification and fedex tracking link (and new delivery date estimate) 4. A couple of days later panicked again when tracking said rugs had been delivered to some state in the US - a quick call to fedex confirmed that it just meant that the items had been delivered to the fedex distribution centre in prepation to be shipped to Australia (overstock also marks the order as delivered at this point) 5. Got text message from fedex a couple of days later saying I'd have a delivery soon which also provided a new tracking number so I could track the delivery from US to AU (had to figure this bit out for myself because the original link provided from overstock stopped providing updates once it got to the fedex distributon centre) 6. It took 12 days for first rug to arrive and it took 2nd rug 14 days to arrive Rugs were in great condition and were as expected so I'm a happy customer. When overstock have time they might benefit from updating their help centre for international customers to explain the process (plus that email with payment confirmation would have been nice). After reading all the other bad reviews I really didn't know what to expect.

I order a desk back on5/08/20 and it was in stock and was supposed to receive it on 5/14/20. It never came but they made sure they charged my credit card on 5/14/20 and then from 5/15/20 to 5/19/20 I got the run around from their customer service by text it would be shipped no later than 5/22/20. I called them last night 5/19/20 to ask why on tracking there has been no movement. After several text the CS person told me for my inconvenience she sent me a 20% off coupon which I never received. Then later last night I receive a email/text that my desk was out of stock and they will be refunding my credit card. I looked at my credit card to see they are trying today to debit it again. They keep using the excuse of The virus for all the deception. The desk was for 397.00 that they have of mine since 5/14/20 and now are greedy enough trying to take it again. You can’t talk to anyone and trying to have a real conversations is impossible! Horrible customer service. Shame on them! I have used them several times in the past and never will again!
