This is the wild West of shopping overstock does not do their due diligence to see if something is reputable or not and you can get ripped off at a high level paying 300 to 500% higher prices than what actually is out on the marketplace everywhere else. Then when you try to contact overstock and tell them how you've been ripped off from high prices and show them price matching which is 300 to 500% less than what you've paid, overstock does nothing except kick the vendor out and leave the consumer having to pay a huge bill for no reason.

Absolutely no help in resolving my shipping dilemma. Overstock.com customer service could have cared less to correct a simple error. They shipped to my old address and basically said... too bad. You figure it out. $300.00 to most is $300 00 dollars. I had to take off work and get my item when they shipped to the wrong address. No solution offered. No apologies sorry we're too busy taking your money. Too big to help. Shop elsewhere . Really

I have never in my life experienced such a horrific event and horrible customer service. We purchased a wool rug on overstock.com and it came infested with moths! We of course did not realize this at first. This has consumed our lives. We have lost $12,000 worth of items due to the clothes moths as they eat clothes rugs carpets even furniture! I called customer service and they were not even apologetic!!! They said well our rugs can sometimes sit on shelves for months and months and therefore wool rugs can become infested with moths yet they continue to sell them this way!!!! Legit no one has contacted me to right this wrong. Our dry cleaning bill alone cost over $1,000. We had pest companies come and inspect the rug from overstock and they said the amount of larvae in the rug and moths was astonishing. Who is checking this before they ship this to customers. I beg people never ever to purchase anything from this company as they do NOT take responsibility for this in any way shape or form. I have yet to hear form anyone about this. I have lost so many rugs and clothes and are out so much money its beyond stressful. I will never buy anything from them again and I will write these reviews on every single site I can and tell everyone I know unless for some reason someone reaches out and rights this wrong. I am going to be creating a facebook group where I will inform everyone of this company.

I ordered an extra-long screen as a room divider for a new office. I was not sure if I would need it or not. As it turned out, I did not need it. I tried to go online and there was no listing that I purchased it. I called and was told that it was returnable, but I would have to pay for the return "label." I figured it couldn't be too much for a return label, although I find it ridiculous. Well, it was going to cost half the price of the item for the return label. Naturally, I am not going to take a half-priced return on a brand new and unopened item. I asked if I could ship it myself. The answer was yes, but you have to jump through hoops (such as calling Overstock back at a certain time to let them know the item is shipped and where from, who is shipping it...). All I want to do is return an item. Neither is a good option as one is far too expensive, and one is a giant pain in the butt. Then comes the sales pitch of, "but wait." All of a sudden, they are going to do me a huge favor by figuring this out and that out and so on to cut my shipping costs in half. Overstock is profiting off of returns!!!! It is disgusting as a consumer. The only way you get free or decent return fees is if the item is damaged. Instead of damaging the item and calling back, I am choosing to sell it on my own to recoup the monies. I need to say that I did not expect free shipping on a large item, but half the cost of the item (when it became obvious that this wasn't the actual or necessary costs) is absurd and let me know that they are profiting off of their returns. Needless to say, I will never do business with Overstock again.

Bought the Salinas Tall Storage Cabinet about 3 weeks ago # 32167295 and the Quality is so poor and the hardware to put together doesn't hold the product together.. After 3 hours of assenbly the unit fell into pieces when stood up?? This is Very poor Quality and I was Charged over half of sales price to return and only refunded abot 1/3 of sales price. Was charged additional to have UPS come pick it up.. Overall OVERSTOCK is a faurst and sell cheap junk items. DO NOT ORDER!! They do not stand behind Products and overchage to ship back!! Horrible customer experience from overstock. Item was described as fully assembled on their website. The item was delivered unassembled. It was also delivered to a house 2 blocks away from where I live. The customer service representatives I spoke to kept me on hold. Promised return calls were never made. The company seems to not care at all about their customers.

I ordered a pair of earrings. 1000 dollars months ago have not received them. Reached out to Customer Service no response. All I can do now is wait and hope they show up. Never order thru this website you will be stressed out and lose money. Wish I had read they reviews never would order from them.
