Per Overstock rules, an order must be cancelled within 30 minutes or you are stuck with it. I ordered a desk on Overstock. Upon review of my order, I realized the desk did not have the built in file drawer I needed. Approximately 35 minutes later, I requested that the order be cancelled and immediately ordered the identical desk with a file drawer. Overstock denied my cancellation request for the first order a day later even though neither item had been picked up for shipment yet. Now, I will be receiving 2 almost identical desks today that were picked up from the same warehouse. My only option is to haul the 140 lb desk to UPS and pay $125 to ship it back to Overstock ONLY because I missed their rule by 5 minutes and I basically reordered the same desk. Their service people were extremely unaccommodating and did not understand English very well. Never again.

I ordered a sofa in April 2022 with an expected delivery date of early May. As I am travelling, on May 11th, my neighbor called me to let me know that a sofa was sitting in my driveway and that it was raining. Neither Overstock or Estes Freight Lines called or emailed to inform me of this delivery. When I called customer service, even though I advised them I was travelling, I was told to bring the sofa indoors so that it didn't get wetter. I have not received any form of communication from Overstock and only received a satisfaction survey from Estes. Needless to say, I let me feelings be known in that survey. Thankfully, my neighbor was able to move the sofa and the pallet it was on into their garage for safekeeping, I don't know if there's any damage yet. Be warned, stay away, these people don't care about their customer after they've received payment.

We ordered a chaise lounge for our unborn daughters nursery and were shipped half of the chair (base, and arm) in a box called A. We contacted Overstock to see where box B was (the hardware, legs, and back) and had to convince them that there was actually a box B, although it clearly stated on the shipment, box 1 of 2. We waited patiently for a month to receive the rest of the chaise to no avail. We just had a courier pick up Box A and finally received notice that our refund is being processed. We have had to make call upon call over this ordeal to Overstock, the only saving grace was a lady in the International team named Denise F. She was helpful and finally got us on track to get the first box gone and money back to us ASAP. We still go not have any idea where box B is and may receive it one day, and then we have to call overstock again for a second courier to come and pick that up, that’s if it ever comes, who knows. It is hard to wrap your head around paying ~ $860.00 CAD for something and to end up a month later with nothing and waiting for your refund to process. Hard pill to swallow. It would be next to impossible for Overstock to ever come back from this with us as customers. It would be a risk just not worth us taking. We weren’t even offered one thing in lieu of our time, our aggravation, and discomfort. I imagine that they would hope to do better.

Be careful if you are returning larger items with Overstock.com. Their customer care is next to nothing. They’ll only refund part of your purchase price and steal the rest. What a ripoff!!!!

I bought two items from overstock and it was horrible every step of the way. I bought two rugs that were listed as well and they both were made of jute which is like a burlap. They were made poorly and not worth what I paid at all. When I called customer service and told them that the items I received were not what I was told I was buying I had to repeat over and over that it was their responsibility to refund me. I had to ask for a supervisor. They then wanted to charge me for shipping both of the rugs even though it was a mistake on their part. At this point I was getting suspicious and so I documented everything very well. I took photos of the rugs I took videos of myself packaging the rugs. I took photos and videos of me shipping the rug at the post office. Then overstock would only refund me for the less expensive rug not the one that cost more I still have not been refunded they just ignore my emails. I was told I would get a refund for both rugs and I am not getting a response from the supervisor who said she would fix it. I believe that overstock.com is a con. They are purposely scamming people.

The worst co.to buy from & I never review. There picture of item inc description not even close to the item. Then when return charged $25 return. Cannot trust them!

We bought a 9 piece set dinning table from Overstock. We scheduled with Carrier Ceva Logistics to receive the product on April 28th. The tracking number from Ceva logistics shows that the product has been out for delivery since the 28th of April and we still have not received the product. We contacted the carrier who had to analyze it and never got back to us. We try to call again and we are never answered. We contacted Overstock to cancel the order as it has been more than 7 days from the delivery date and Overstock has told us that this is an oversize product and they cannot cancel. That is, trick the customer with oversize team talk. Therefore, I contacted the Bank to request the chargeback of this order. I am here reporting my dissatisfaction with this store. I'll be leaving the same review for Ceva Logistics to alert people about the negligence with the customer. When a store doesn't deliver the product, the customer has every right to cancel the order, that's the law, but Overstock doesn't respect that. And now I see here on Trustpilot that this is not a trusted store. Open your eyes and research store reviews before buying.

SCAMMERS, bought a bike from Overstock thru Road Bike Oulet and the bike came damaged, Overstock and Road Bike Outlet refuse to help they expect me to pay $405 and not get a perfect new bike. So i called Road Bike oulet and they told me to use nail polish or paint and fix it myself with $15 credit, LOL. Both Overstock and Road Bike Outlet are scammers and shouldnt be in business in the USA. Plus they charge a restock fee and a return shipping fee when its not the consumers fault. STAY AWAY from Overstock they play games and promise a replacement but then its just lies ,and Road Bike Outlet is part of the game.
