I purchased a futon for my pregnant wife to use while she's working from home. We had the futon for approximately 12 days and it broke. The futon was made of cheap aluminum or metal to hold the legs into place and easily bent when my wife reached for something. This happened on September 29th and I have contacted overstock every day since. I emailed the seller, I emailed overstock customer service and nothing. Overstock created a case number and told me they would be in contact within two business days and its been 5. I told them the futon was for my pregnant wife and they ignored it and asked if there was anything else they could do. I've exhausted all options and they don't have the decency to call or assist with the problem. Their customer service is deplorable and carefree. They blame the seller, yet they allow the seller to continue to advertise items on their website and won't play the middleman when there are issues with the product.

Go elsewhere
Avoid Overstock. I will use Wayfair or others instead. This company refuses to allow cancellations or order corrections. My order was wrong but it said it would not ship for over a week, so I called customer service to cancel on a Monday and they said they would process cancellation but could not guarantee. They later responded on Wednesday the items were being shipped anyway that same day even though I requested cancellation before shipment. They appeared to expedite shipment so the order could not be cancelled after receiving my call. This will cost $150 to ship back and they (or their vendors) hope the customer will just keep the product and not pay to return it. Not a good business strategy.

If I could give zero stars if I could
If I could give zero stars if I could. Ordered mirrors on July 31st, 2022 which came in damaged. Returned mirrors which were received by the seller on August 18th, 2022. It is now October and I still do not have my refund. Overstock informs me to contact the Marketplace Seller - when I contact the Marketplace Seller they inform me that they have given the money back to Overstock and I should contact Overstock. I contact Overstoock and they inform me to contact the Marketplace Seller. They have been giving me the run around for months now and have my money.

Totally bait and switch! Shop someplace else!
10/2/22 I was not familiar with overstock but they had a good selection of wool rug runners and I needed one. On the website it looked very nice it was $2000. I ordered it I received it and when I unrolled it it was machine made and probably worth $300. A really huge disappointment. I will never shop with them again. Buyer beware ... Don't!

Inferior quality!
The rug is paper thin, the pile is very thin and sporadic. And that was just by opening the one end of this rug. Not even worth opening the whole rug. The item description says 100% polypropylene - this rug is NOT 100% polypropylene - it's more like an itchy yarn. $140+ for 7x9 rug and if I want to return this inferior product then Overstock will charge me $44+ to return a 13lb item. If the weight of the item would have been listed in the description I would have known this was a very cheaply made rug with a big price tag. This was the first time I ordered from Overstock and definitely will be the last time.

Pricing is all over and they wont price match
Their pricing is all over the place and they wont price match when the item you purchased is magically $800 cheaper 3 days later. And every time i placed an order something either never ships at all, gets lost in transit or arrives damaged. Customer service is absolutely horrible and no help at all. Stay away!

Charged $165 shipping for return!
The "cream" color is more pale lemon yellow. Awful color! But FAR worse, is the customer service. Even though I bought another rug from Overstock in its place, I WAS CHARGED $165 DOLLARS for the SHIPPING to RETURN this terrible rug!! My emails asking about this exorbitant shipping fee have gone unanswered. I will never use this site again!
Addendum: After two phone calls and two emails, a customer service representative was able to refund us the shipping fee.

I don't want to take away from all the…
I don't want to take away from all the negative sentiments in the reviews of Overstock, but my experience with ordering from there was absolutely stellar. For context, I bought a $1500 rug and had it shipped from the U.S. to Europe. I will explain why I was completely blown away by the experience:
(1) Huge, and I mean enormous, selection, all in stock. I was sure this was some trick, like some redefining of what 'in stock' actually means, this is fairly common in e-commerce, but at least for the item I picked, it was obviously true, as they shipped it within one day or two.
(2) Great price. I can't speak for every item they sell, but for the rug I selected, it was significantly cheaper on Overstock than everywhere else (exactly same item, same brand, etc.), and by a large margin, like 10-15%.
(3) They ship internationally. Most stuff I order from the U.S. I have to have shipped to a freight forwarding service, which then sends it on to me, at an additional cost in time and money. Overstock ships directly to my country, and even handles the import tax, which saves me the service charge (and waiting time) if the local toll office would have handled it. This is all handled by FedEx Cross Border, which I guess deserves some of the credit.
(4) Related to the previous point: The international shipping was *fast*. Something like five days from the order to my doorstep. I have never had anything shipped this fast from the U.S. before, even direct orders usually take at least 10 to 14 days. At the same time it was very reasonably priced - I would have paid more to move this rug (huge 3x4 meters rug, weighing 25 kilos) from one address to another within my own country! Again, credit to FedEx Cross Border, I guess.
All in all, I cannot overstate how satisfied I was with this experience. I was fully expecting something to happen it all just seemed too good to be true, not in stock, huge shipping delay, additional import taxes, wrong or faulty item, whatever. Especially after seeing all the negative reviews in here, which I only saw after ordering (and I will admit that I might have some hestitation from ordering from there again after reading what others have gone through). But I feel it is only fair to give credit where credit is due, they have at least one happy customer here.
