I purchased three rugs from Overstock. The quality wasnt that great, being too thin, so I called Overstock to return them. The return label would have cost me 3/4 of what I paid for the rugs. One rug return actual cost more to return than the rug itself. The agent said, I recommend you keep them because of what it would cost to return. I told the agent, I get it and Overstock never have to worry about me shopping with them again.

Asked for a refund and spoke to 2 separate reps weeks apart who said they had processed the refund but I never received it. Make sure to follow-up because they try to take your money hoping you take them at their word when they say they refunded you, when they don't. Still haven't received refund.

Once they have your money you can kiss goodbye any assistance you might need. We can disagree how my order went to an old address, or even how you were able to get approval for the charge with a billing address not associated with my credit card, but what cannot be disputed is the poor customer service I received after. From Customer Service reps who put me on hold for over an hour to avoid helping to CS reps who dropped my call when asking to speak to a supervisor. In the end I was able to resolve the issue for less money than they offered. From top to bottom, everyone I dealt with in this company was more focused on saving money for the company than helping the paying customer. I wouldn't hire any of them to even clean the toilets at my business.

They sold me a product then the day it was supposed to arrive they changed their mind and took it back! So unprofessional!!! I had ordered all kinds of accessories, I missed other sales while relying on my purchase from Overstock and last minute they said, never mind, we don't want to sell it at the price ypu bought it for. So beware, if its a good price, it's probably not going to get to you. Better spend more for a trustworthy experience. What a terrible company.

Be aware, you're not buying furniture and decor, you're just buying a kit to build it yourself. You have to assemble every item, including lamps and clocks. I have ordered from them a few times, and I liked the items. Assembly was not too difficult. However, this time I needed to return the item. This was a bench that cost about $106. Their prepaid return label cost $59!!! So basically I'm paying $59 just to find out this item wasn't suitable. I also don't believe UPS really charges that much to ship a box like this. From now on I'm sticking with Amazon or buying in person.

The tables are not solid oak they have a plywood shelf and the sides of the table are plywood. In fact, the table is not even oak. The wood species is Ailanthus from China. I also contacted Overstock on their chat looking for assistance and it timed out because they NEVER responded. Then I was kicked out of their online chat. They are a terrible online company that sells products not as described and has zero customer service, next is a phone call to them.

How long will it take the BBB to close these people down? It’s company like this that gives American Businesses a bad reputation. This Company is unethical in every sense of the word. I’m a 70 yr. old disable Vet. Who order 2 boxes of floor title for my kitchen & only got 1after call to ask for the other box I got a 1/2 box of wrapped box. Instead of telling me the title was outta stock they wouldn’t return my money or I wasn’t told I could get a return label so I paid UPS $40.00 to return a box & paid $68.00 for 1 1/2 boxes of title. So, they are advertising outta stock merchandise with a no return policy, to give a store credit. It’s the old bait & switch game & then offer me a $34.01 store credit. BBB please close these people down.
