Overstock.comReviews of overstock.com

They had me become a member so i have free returns, they wanted to charge me $200 for a $650. return, after fighting with them they dropped it to $175. then $100. then $50. I spent hours fixing what they messed up and money. This was the second time I had the same problem. I am done with them.

Shipping takes much longer than it should. I ordered an item on October 1st, it didn't ship out until 11 days later, on the 12th. The latest tracking shows it won't be received by me until the 20th! I understand that the delays intransit aren't their fault by why did it take 11 days just to process my single item, wall tapestry; in the first place? This is the first and will be the last time I order through them. Not impressed at all.

We ordered an item from overstock.com, the item was delivered to a wrong address in a wrong city. We contacted them, they blamed fedex, and refused to provide a refund. Never again. Beware

Bad experience with Overstock ! Customer service is unprofessional! Furniture had manufactured damage ordered same bed twice!!

I've bought many items on this site. Most of the time there is no problem even when having to return a defective item. I just had a seriously annoying experience with them. I received a mildew infested rug and called them. They said the price of a call tag exceeded the value of the rug so dispose of it. They said they'd refund in 3-5 days. Never happened. Called after 3 business days...they said wait 5..still no refund. Chatted with them and got the same run around...wait another 3-5 days. I insisted on a supervisor..they would not connect me to one. I told them I was filing a complaint with Paypal immediately after the chat. The threat evidently was effective. I was refunded while in the process of filing my Paypal complaint. I received a damaged item the order before this and they sent a replacement but insisted I keep the original damaged item for 2 weeks until the carrier could "inspect" it....never happened. The prices are all over the place so you have to shop for a while before placing an order...the 15-17% off is a scam...you have to price watch for a while. They have really pissed me off over the past month...don't know if I'll order again. I don't like having to call and chat 5 times to get a refund for a seriously defective item.

Very happy with my purchase. Will definitely use Overstock in the future.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I was shopping for a Fat tire bike and Overstock ad came up on google for a good deal on a chinese made silver fat tire bike. It said would ship and deliver within 4 business days and it also said 10 available. So I went ahead and bought it and when I clicked purchase it said thanks for your order and when I clicked on the ad again it said 9 left in stock.... I waited 2 weeks and they never shipped the bike. I contacted support and they said they could not do anything. They said I could cancel the order. I told them to check into it. They said ok and that id for some reason it does not ship in 30 days Overstock will automatically cancel it. I'm thinking am I buying a bike or am I investing my time and money to have my funds locked down over at Overstock for a month while I wonder if they will ever ship the bike. As I was waitng for the bike I saw all the stock go 0. and a message on the ad said contact us for when this item is in stock. Then a day later there were 6 more in stock at a higher price. So I know they had inventory and I had bought the bike way before these other buyers that bought the bike days or weeks after I did. I get an email on week 3 that said for unknown reasons we had to cancel your order and here is a 10 % coupon you can use orn more expensive fat tire bikes. I will never ever buy from this site. This was my 1st purchase through them and they 300$ failed. I've spent $100,000 online and never had this problem with other sites. This site is a joke and should be put out of business. Don't ever buy from this site unless yoyu wanna waste your time and money. I'm still waiting for the refund.,,,

Twelve days after ordering (and two emails stating my item was being shipping) Overstock cancelled my order stating it was out of stock. Poor customer service and no apology.
