I contacted several data recovery companies but decided to use Outsource because of their simple and efficient website. I was not disappointed. Not only was I provided with cost-effective options in a timely manner and kept apprised of the status but they were also able to recover all of my data. I am thoroughly impressed with their efficient and professional service. I will recommend Outsource to anyone in need of drive repair and data recovery.

Outsource was able to repair my external hard drive after an overvoltage incident rendered it inoperable. Easy, no hassle, and I received my media back several days earlier than expected. Would definitely reccomend for data recovery or drive issues.

Saved my bacon - friendly, helpful and fast. Thought a decade of family pics and information were (literally) toast due to a power supply failure. These guys waved a magic wand, and with some help from my computer engineer son, now the old brick works like new.

I returned my circuit card for a new /used one - they needed my bios load for the newer one. Just before I returned it, I was actually able to partition and format some unused space on the hard drive. The rest showed up as unformatted partitions. When I received the replacement board, I installed it and the device driver installed just fine, but I immediately (within 5 minutes) got a BSOD from the drive. Since then it doesn't even see the drive interface. I talked to my contact there, and he said it must be the hard drive, send it to us and we can milk you for more money! (He said analyze the drive, but I just wanted a working board) The newer board also had several extra parts on the CCA, but I assumed they did their homework before sending it back. Live and learn? I could have procured the same board for about 1/2 of what I paid, but I was bamboozled after looking for bad reviews. (I found only 1 or 2 - which is generally acceptable). Review: I sent in a semi-working board, and I was returned 2 non working boards. I was told something that I never experienced since 1984 - working in PC and Military avionic hardware and software - that what I was returned was working even though the system is unable to see the hard drive now at all. At bare minimum (since no smoke was released from the CCA) the system should see "something" when it was in an USB interface (I tried 2 types) and/or connected directly to the motherboard, it sees it as an imminent failure pending (code 5?) from the smart drive circuitry.
