Then I called a few days after & received no answer. They then responded to my email later saying it would be no later than a day later. - Approved the file list & was told I would receive a link shortly but no response until I reach out a week after the files were approved. They were then sent out later that night after an email. • I did not get all my files. Most of the files that were on the approved file list were corrupted. I was not able to tell that from the file list, only from trying to open them.

Overall, I liked that they solved a problem. However, the path towards solving it could be improved. After receiving my drive, they were waiting for my response to progress. I wasn't notified in any way. An email, text, or call would have moved things along much faster. After approving the work, they did a fine job. I needed to pay for a new hard drive for them to put the data on and ship it to me. They list prices but not make/model/form factor or anything about the hard drive other than the storage capacity. The prices were steeper than going to your favorite store/website, purchasing something, and sending it in. Of course, I assumed it was the same form factor (3.5" drive) that I sent in. I received a 2.5" drive instead. Not a problem, but it was a surprise.

Happy with their ability to recover my files, but don’t like all of the mandatory hidden fees to get your data back once they have your files held hostage. All of the pricing is not upfront.

The recovery was successful, but this recovery started as a bait and switch. Once the recovery was completed, there were a lot of add on charges that other data recovery services I've used included with the price. Shipping, back up data drive, having my original drive returned to me (seriously WTFV). I may refer people there because their price is more reasonable than some, but I am hesitant because of the shadiness they exhibited.

While I was given a lot of hope, it turned out to be a false positive. I paid the expedited fee for 72 hour turn around, had to call a week later for a status update. Was asked to download a viewing program and to make an appointment and Cameron would call to do an online viewing. Instead, a link was emailed to me a 1/2 hour after said appointment and the files weren’t viewable. In my opinion Cameron takes ion far too much. Getting ahold of someone was no small feat. All the photos I was told could be recovered unfortunately weren’t.

I am happy with the recovery of the data, but the time it took from October 13, 2020 to Feb 13, 2021 is ridiculous. I had contacted the office by phone many times over the months with no response back. Finally, I received my data download and I am very happy with the data recovery. They just must get better with their communications.

The process of the data recovery was good, but I feel the price of the service was expensive. Once they retrieved the data for a $1,000 then they charged additional fees for media and shipping. I did ask a question about the fees for the retrieval but never received a response. It would be nice if they documented the details of what was done to recover the data so to assure me the fees matched the work done.
