Very good units , we’ve purchased all models and no regrets ! We have units on the road for over 2 years now and 0 problems

Ordered the Summit 2 with heater in March and received it within 5 days. The unit sat boxed until August when I finally had time and the weather window to remove a roof fan and install the AC unit. Directions for installation were clear and thorough, the unit itself is made of high quality materials and came with extra hardware. Installation would have been simple if I didn't have to figure out the cable run in my already built-out van, and if I didn't require the extension kit. My van roof was about 3/4" too thick to use the attachment rods and screws that come with the unit. Outequip sent me the extension kit and I had it within 5 days. The extension kit worked except for the m4 screws that attach the control panel to the unit--they were not completely threaded and and I needed to cut them down which would have left no threads. So, I had to purchase fully threaded screws on on Amazon (the Amazon link to the screws was promptly given to me by Outequip themselves). Now that the unit is installed I have had the chance to run it and, albeit in fairly cool autumn conditions in Colorado, it seems to work well. It is incredibly quiet. I am happy with the product thus far, and though I wish the extension kit screws would have worked as is, I am extremely happy with the prompt and helpful customer service I received from Outequip. Installed the 12V OutEquip A/C on my 1991 Skamper truck camper hoping to make it a little more comfortable during the hot and sticky Kentucky summers. It exceeded those expectations by a long shot! These old truck campers don’t have much for insulation, so if it had toned down the humidity I’d have been happy. Took it to the races in Bristol TN in June for four days and it was HOT (90’s full sunshine) and it kept it at 72 the whole time ON LOW!!!! Draws very little power, extremely quiet, and the customer service response is amazing. Just to be clear, I wasn’t having any problems, just had a question and they were on the response very quickly. In my opinion, if you are looking to cool a van build, trailer conversion, truck camper etc, I would 1000% recommend!

Ordered an OutEquipPro roof top 12V AC unit for my van RV project, arrived in just a few days. Instructions were well written and easy to understand and literally everything needed for the installation was included with some extra, might be needed, pieces. Upon initial start up I had a problem and contacted the help department and received a prompt return with possible causes as well as assurance that if something was needed it would be sent immediately. Well turns out I plugged the temp sensor into the wrong port on the control board, dumb on my part dang it. and once my mistake was corrected unit started right up and works great. It is very quiet and easy to operate with the supplied remote or on the control panel. I would definitely purchase again. Thanks for the help guys.

My order arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. The included instructions were thorough and included multiple alternative ways of routing the power cable. There were also plenty of videos online showing a step by step installation. I haven't been able to get out and use it in high temperatures. But while I've been working on other projects in the van it has been amazing to cool the space down. I've upgraded my solar and believe I'll be able to fully power the unit on solar alone.

great product!! will be using your company for more purchases of same item for our customers vehicles! thank you so much from sprinter van city!!

5 Star product! Insane Quality!

Installation was a breeze in my Four Wheel Camper Grandby into the rear 14x14 max fan cutout. Running it completely off grid for two weeks in the Nevada desert using solar with a 314 amp hour LiFePo4 battery. The unit is very discreet, low profile and quiet. Cannot recommend highly enough!
