The sensation difference between feet is actually quite common, especially when there is more fluid build-up on one side. The fluid itself can act as a barrier, reducing the conductivity of the electrical impulse through the skin. This does not necessarily mean the left pad is defective — it may simply need a little more time as the circulation improves and the swelling begins to reduce. A few things that may help: make sure the conducting gel is applied generously and evenly on the left foot, ensure the pad is lying flat with full contact, and try gradually increasing the intensity on the left side if comfortable. As the swelling decreases with consistent use, you should begin to feel the sensation more clearly.
