It must be a scam! The kit had invalid barcodes, online chat suggested to send samples anyway and they’ll activate it. Sent my samples immediate but still waiting to receive any acknowledgment or information on the progress of the test. All gone into ether it seems! Tried calling St. Kilda “branch”, but recorded message announce they are busy ‘dealing with valued customers’ and referred me to online. No joy there either. Looks like I’ve blown my money!! No one takes responsibility not even the seller of the product - Vet shop Australia. I think I’ll make my own “educated” guess on the breed of my dog. It’s cheaper and by the sounds of it from other’s experience, more accurate. DO NOT BUY or trust ORIVET!

Can't recommend them at all. Soooooooooo slow and you need to push for results, and results figure as pending for what seems to be ages..... Push again and you get a bit more results, push once more you get a bit more - but still 5 is pending. 1 * for being price competitive and 1* for refunding, as Orivet also figured out that this was not fair at all.

I did a full breed profile for my cat Cassy. I received the results for various diseases and traits. Enjoyed the experience and I feel like I know Cassy a little better now. :)

As nearly all the reviews have stated. This company is just really slow and then if or when you do get results they may only be partial with some tests showing inconclusive or still pending never to be completed. A very disappointing result and transaction.

Appalling customer service. Swabs arrived quickly but that was the only good bit. Difficulty activating the barcodes, had an on-line chat, followed their instructions and posted swabs off. Apparently never to be seen again. Multiple on-line chats and emails getting conflicting information and no useful response including no email updates even though those were promised. No replacement swabs even though those were promised at least twice. Started this on 5th July 2023 when the original order was placed. Now actioned a refund request via Paypal, so disappointing, all I wanted was the DNA results.

Very bad experience. I used Embark and Wisdompanel in the past without issues (and it also involved customs + shipping sample to US / UK). This time I said I will try orivet since they have EU warehouse so I avoid VAT and customs related expenses and delays. It turns out this was a bad idea. The processing time is extremely slow and once they finally got to it they just said breed ID test failed without any explanation and without providing a refund or resending the swab so they would redo the test. I'm sure it's a problem on their side. I took 3 swabs exactly as per instructions. In the past, both wisdompanel and embark required only a single swab and there were no issues whatsoever.

Never get any reply on my emails. I’ve send the swap nearly 4 weeks ago and I’ve sent to emails to ask for a confirmation of the swabs arriving correctly. I don’t think I ever get any results back and I totally waisted almost 100 euros

Looks like a scam, sent off swabs nearly 2 months ago,no email no contact and no results,keeps saying pending…🤬🤬🤬
