Orivet.com has got to be the worst animal / dog DNA company in the world. They have now taken then 8 weeks to inform me that initial sample taken on 4/7/2026 was insufficient and they need another sample to do the DNA on my Labrador and they have allegedly sent a kit but surprise they do not know when or if it was sent and have no idea of any tracking number. I have spoken to the UK office 4 times who quote ' just answer the phone' and do nothing else. They apparently have a mysterious person called Ryley who deals with the UK but does not respond to emails. Messages sent via the Orivet contact page go unanswered. Emails to head office help go unanswered. Please DO NOT use this company as once they have your money they will ignore you and your pet would have passed with old age before you get a response. No customer service at all. BEWARE Still waiting for any response 14/8/2026. If you do choose to use this company you have been warned !!!!

If I could I would rate them -5 what appalling company they are still waiting after 10 weeks for a reply which will never come. I have sent them email after email and don't get back and phoned them several times. Stay clear of this company they are a scam.

I sent orivet samples from 4 dogs in the same sealed envelope. They have only said they have received and are testing 3. I have now emailed them a third time asking them to confirm they realise they received and are testing 4 different samples. Who knows how many more times I will have to chase them before they respond, hopefully not to say they threw out the envelope with one sample still in it. Sadly it is too common to have to chase Orivet numerous times for a response. It is not good enough that customers have to pay up front, then have to follow up numerous times to find out whether the job they sent in and paid for is being done.

I opened a ticket 3.11.2026 they responded 3.12.2026. I replied asking another question the reponded 4.1.2026. They were not helpful at all in getting the results for my new dog transferred to my name despite having the registration in my name. I ended up just ordering a new kit from Embark. Horrible customer service.

I am a veterinarian. I ordered a genetic test from Orivet to diagnose a patient's neurologic disease, so there was clearly some urgency to receive accurate results promptly. After ordering the test, I received a packing slip that said to ship the sample to an address in Australia. There is ZERO shipping information on Orivet's website. It does not tell you where to send samples, how to package them, what carrier to use, or what information is needed for customs. I ended up talking to their stupid AI chat bot, which told me to write a permit number on the package (the packing slip I received said nothing about this) and ship via DHL Express. After driving 45 minutes to the nearest DHL Express and waiting in line for an hour, I was told that DHL does not ship biologics and they would not accept my package. Back to the chat bot, which now told me to use USPS instead. So I shipped via USPS, which was painfully slow. It took almost 3 weeks to arrive at the destination. Imagine my surprise when the package finally made it to the address I was given, and the tracking info said "Addressee Not Available" after multiple delivery attempts! I contacted Orivet customer service to ask when someone would be available to receive the package. They told me the package should have been shipped to KENTUCKY! The Kentucky address is NOWHERE on the website or on the paperwork I was given. Now I have wasted weeks, the patient is still undiagnosed, and I spent money shipping a package to nowhere. I asked Orivet how they intend to rectify this, given that it was their fault - no response. I am appalled at the disorganization, incorrect information, and complete lack of care from a company that does diagnostic testing for severe genetic diseases! I will never use them again and will warn the veterinary community about this company as well.

Really quite upset to be honest. Orivet STILL haven't sent me the test results despite them admitting they are WAY overdue. Mary called me on Friday to assure me that the results will be sent the same day as they are so overdue, still nothing. Starting to suspect the company is fraudulent so on Monday unless the tests results have arrived i will be contacting the bank and reporting the company. I have been waiting over a month to have my rightpaw verified to enable me to carry on with my business, thanks to orivet's incompetence it looks like i wont be able to carry on my business. FUMING!

Pawprint>Orivet Ever since Orivet bought out PawPrint Genetics I have had nothing but issues. First of all their website is not user friendly. Second the DNA testing we submitted took longer than I was initially told, 3-4 weeks to almost 7 weeks. Then I was not able to access the results from the website, could not download or print or emial them to myself to be able to forward results. Needless to say this is the last time our clinic will be using Orivet. We will belooking at other options going forward. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME LIKE I DID!

If there was a 0 rating !! I never had trouble with Pawprint, since the merge it is a nightmare. I have dogs missing and what dogs are there I have no results for anything. I want my money back. This company sucks, I will never recommend them.
