Agree with others, level of customer service non existant. They dont try to resolve anthing but just keep sending back generic emails, whch ignore why Im hav ing a problem with my order. They have taken my money and have said my products are despatched. They dont mention on their website ATALL that there are delays of... days due to covid. Despite giving them plenty of breathing space due ot these difficult times, they still dont reply or move to investigate or resolve. They say that orders may take longer - 7 to 10 days; but my order has not come after 18 days, they wont reply!!!! They wont refund me!!!!

AVOID!!!!!!!!!!! I placed an order in the middle of February - now it´s the middle of May, and I still haven´t received anything - despite having paid for my items (100£). I have contacted the Organic Garden Catalogue several times. In the beginning the employees gave me contradicting information regarding the whereabouts of my order (sent or not sent, which date it was sent - if it was sent etc), but they could never tell me when I would receive it - they even ignored my requests for a tracking ID. Now I don´t even get a reply when I write to them. Now several months later I have never recieved anything from them, and they have not given me a refund either - despite me requesting it (they just ignore my emails). This is absolutely despicable, and I would like to warn everybody, whom might consider buying from them! Please please AVOID! I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Ordered Picardy Wight garlic bulbs, 3 small bulbs arrived, yellow and old looking with very small cloves 1 bulb split open suggesting it had "bolted". When l reported it they tried to tell they were fresh stock this year. Also purchased tomato seeds, l packet says " Packed in year 2020". Dodgy dating as well?

We have built our first garden. i have purchased some seeds from the organic catalouge in december which came in january. i have then purchased some vegetable plants at the beginning of May. it is now a month and i have received nothing. i am unable to get any update. sadly i think it might be too late to plant my vegetables. awful experience. zero customer service.

I had serious misgivings about writing a negative review for a company I have been supporting for the past 20 years, however it is NOT the same company at all. They used to have high standards. Customer service was spot on, as was delivery, communication and ethos. They had a Royal Warrant even though they were a tiny company, as well as bags of enthusiasm and a genuine and passionate belief in what they did. You'd imagine that with Sutton's vast spending power they'd get even better, but not so. It is nigh on impossible to talk to a knowledgeable person at Suttons, and the conversations feel like they're acting the part rather than being truly invested in the core values of organic gardening. Stock control seems to be non-existent, with orders being accepted (and charged) for items which they can't possibly deliver. Emails are ignored (pesky customers, who needs them?). Advice is not given and complaints are not resolved. I have placed FIVE orders since they were bought out by Suttons, of which all were late or incomplete. I have phoned six times and been promised calls back which have not materialised. I have Emailed four times and not had a single reply. PLEASE don't buy from this company. Like a previous reviewer, Tamar now enjoy my custom.

Seriously don't bother if you want anything more complicated than a few packet of seeds. Appalling customer service. I'm still chasing up my order I placed well over a month ago and it was meant to be despatched in 3 to 5 days. They don't respond to emails either so don't bother with that. I called them and they were a bit vague and promised a call back within the next 24 hours. 2 days later I got a voice mail saying my order will be with me in 7 to 10 days. That was 13 days ago. Seriously the company is a joke

I used to love this company. Had a break of a few years because of illness, thought recently that a chat about organics with the friendly staff would cheer me up, only to find that the Catalogue is now produced by Suttons. Instinctively thought that wouldn't be a change for the better but I'd give them a chance, despite reading the poor reviews on Trustpilot. However it really was as disappointing an experience as others have stated. From slow deliveries to non-communication, sorry OGC, you reached your peak a few years ago and should now be wound up. Let Real Seeds or Tamar wear your crown.

Having received the latest incarnation of The Organic Gardening Catalogue it is now clear that the new owners, under the direction of Garden Organic, have decided to betray the organic principles upon which the catalogue and Garden Organic were founded. A huge amount of premium sales space is devoted to non-organic varieties and many pages are filled with the same tat you can find in any garden centre. On top of this the friendly and knowledgeable team of years past are no longer there, Emails go unanswered, delivery is scandalously slow, and stock marked as available is in fact out of stock. Under James Cambell's leadership Garden Organic has become an absolute disgrace, and I have joined the legion of members who are not renewing our membership. I, like a previous reviewer, now buy from Tamar Organics. The final straw for me was when I asked The Organic Gardening Catalogue for some general advice, which was always given by the friendly previous owners, only to be told that nobody was available. She got quite surly I thought. And now I read that the original owners of The Organic Gardening Catalogue (Chase Organics) have just sold the remainder of their holdings to one of the UK's biggest chemical manufacturers. Clearly profit comes before integrity.
