This company only deserves one star because I did receive the seeds that I had ordered, BUT my order of tomato and bean plants has not been fulfilled and I ordered these back in April. I spoke to someone once on the telephone but still no delivery. I have requested my money back now but the contact email I sent was not delivered. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!

Spent a lot of money on seeds and several varieties failed to germinate and have been waiting for live plants which haven’t arrived. Emailed them twice with no response and been trying for 3 days to get through to customer service and all I get is irritating music. Will never use them again, non existent customer service.

Poor service. I ordered plants and they sent a delivery date so I arranged my trip away after the date. Then they changed the delivery date so that it was while I was away. I asked them to delay a week and they said "no", give us an alternative address. I gave them a neighbour's address to deliver to but they have not updated the order details over a week later. Used to be a good company but they were taken over by Suttons and now they are rubbish. Best avoided.

This used to be a great company, i ahve rdered lots from them before and been really pleased. But, my latest order was placed in early Feb and THREE MONTHS later I'm still waiting. No communication from them, no reply to my emails, apart from an auto reply telling me it will be nine days until they respond! I won't use this company again.

My order is sitting in packing. No reply to my email. Called and got friendly customer service person who is unable to refund my money without authorization as its over £50. Will call me back in a couple of days with authorization??? Un-heard of. Unbelievable. Contacting my credit card company.

I have tried to order from this company twice and they have let me down twice. I would give them zero stars. They are not fit for purpose. Twice bitten, never again!

The organic catalogue looked like the perfect site for buying organic seeds. No other site i found offered this variation of organic seeds usually it was the odd two or three organic seeds. When I bought from the organic catalogue I didn’t read the reviews (if I did, I definitely would not have ordered from here) but despite many people with bad reviews about missing or dead plants mine were perfectly fine, and on time too. Once I read the reviews I was regretting placing my order. Possibly it was as I only ordered seeds and I didn’t order any big packages of live plants, but they came, healthy and on time. I think the problem here could be their delivery service, whistl. The organic catalogue dispatched my order in exactly 28 hours (4 hours more than they said they would but to me that doesn’t matter as long as they delivered to me before a week as they said they would, my seeds were delivered in 5 days) however whistl was very fast to get my delivery from bristol to my local whistl warehouse but once it reached there i had the message, “Handed over to Royal Mail”. This was the problem on the whistl reviews too where whistl do not deliver to houses and therefore transfer the parcel to royal mail (or hermes) therefore losing all tracking information and some lost deliveries. At this point I was very worried that my delivery would not come at all but to my surprise, a few days later it arrived. I think whistl is the problem here with missing, late and dead deliveries and to the organic catalogue if you read this, I’m sure that people would rather pay the extra pound or two for a better delivery service that at least secures their deliveries. Even if delivery costs more I think that’s a good trade-off if it means that people get their packages in the end.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They keep sending unwanted daily emails. They do not respond to my request to stop and take me off their distribution list. Never had any response from their customer services. AVOID!
