The easiest way to print postage including the hard to find online regular 1st class stamps for free. Yes the min charge can be a pain but I find I rarely leave more than 3.00 or 4.00 sit in the account for any time.

Enjoyable and Convenient!
Quick, convenient, and responsive. Just keep in mind you cannot get a refund on first-class postage.
It's enjoyable to use their service. Very straightforward.

Bad UI/Customer Service
They do not offer a print preview for labels and did not refund my postage when I had a label issue. Stamps.com is much better in both respects.

Hi,
Sorry to hear about your not having the best interactions with our service.
You are correct - we do not have a print preview. This is something we are always working on. The underlying issue here is that the label is a generated PDF - with LIVE postage.
That said - we do offer refunds on all postage except First Class. Which is why the refund you requested was automatically declined. Per USPS regulations - postage that can still be used, can not be refunded. Your postage could be re-printed and used as it is LIVE postage.
We do understand that this can be a little confusing - which is why we try to clearly indicate in multiple places (before postage is actually generated) that First Class postage is non-refundable.
Stamps.com can offer you a refund on first class, because after you pay them the monthly fee, you also MUST purchase serialized stamp paper from them. Our First Class is simply printed to anything with no monthly fee. But, the result of that freedom and transparency is that it is non-refundable (first class letters/cards/flats only).

Awesome pricing and easy-to-use label…
Awesome pricing and easy-to-use label printing. The only thing I wish was if they kept the address book for free accounts. They recently removed it :(

paid us $10 to review them
The reason the reviews are so high is that they offered $10 to all users who left a review on trust pilot. I was one of the people that happily did so, with minimal experience with the company at that point.
Now I have more experience, and I cannot say they are trustworthy at all. They quickly expired that credit, without any warning, and defend it based on small print on their website that nobody ever sees. Avoid.
EDIT: their response below is pretty clearly disingenuous. They solicited reviews on their homepage before even requiring that you created a login.

We are sorry you are not happy with our service. The TrustPilot program you reference was discontinued in June of 2021.
In November of 2021 we culled out accounts that were over 1 year old, never used and with no funds ever added and any coupons that were greater than 60 days old (as per our TOS). Unfortunately your unused account was one of these.
Like a store coupon that has an expiration date, the credit we issued you also did. We are sorry to hear you never used it and that you offered a TrustPilot review without ever using our software. The program was not designed for that purpose and we believe the vast majority of our reviews come from active and honest users.

Customer Service Complaint
Everything was fine with this Orange Mailer.com until the first time I had an issue and had to ask for help. Immediately I realized Bill from the “help” desk wasn’t going to give me much help/understanding. I got alot of “NO, YOU ARE INCORRECT”/LOOK HERE/YOU DID NOT etc” but no help, empathy, patience, understanding or ‘Customer Service’. Bill was wrong but I couldn’t explain what I think might have went wrong with my package. He was in defense/attack/shut me down mode and it worked.

Hi
I am sorry for your experience, but Orange Mailer.co does provide USPS postage, meaning the United States Postal Service, and you wanted a refund for a FEDEX label you had printed, you send us a picture of the FEDEX label. Orange Mailer does not provide Fedex labels. So yes he shut you down, because we do not deal with Fedex.
If you did have a issue with a USPS label that you printed via our system then please contact us again with that information and we can look into it, but we can not be responsible for Fedex or UPS or any other shippers just because we work with USPS.

It was a great service until recently
It was a great service until recently. They removed the Address Book for the free service. THE USPS WEBSITE HAS A FREE ADDRESS BOOK. the rates seem to have changed, too, so it costs exactly the same as the regular USPS website. I am closing my Orangemailer account. When it would automatically bring up addresses from the address book I had been compiling for over a year it was great, now all that is lost unless I buy in to their service at a higher (paid) level. not worth it, the post office website lets me print postage and keep an address book, and apparently it's the exact same rate-- BUT on the USPS site you can also the flat rate postage and print from home if you have the flat rate boxes- which you can pick up at the post office for free- AND you don't need to load a "minimum" balance you just pay for exactly what you use... So go use the USPS site. save time and skip the middle man who can take away your address book at any time and arbitrarily keep your surplus balance if you close your account.

Hi,
The free service has always - since day 1 - been the same price as USPS. Full retail. But you are correct about the address book. Click-n-ship does offer one, so long as you only ship Priority mail or Express. They do not offer First Class, Certified, Media, Library, Parcel like we do - all for free.
Additionally, you are incorrect to say that we don't offer Flat Rate postage - we do. We offer nearly everything that your local post office offers.
As for the $10 minimum in credits for postage. We actually wish that we could offer the same as USPS - but if we allowed for a 55 cent charge on your credit card, we would lose more than 30 cents every time. Unlike USPS - we do not get government funding. We are a start up working to provide an alternative so that you get convenience and service at a reasonable price.
As "The Virtual Post Office" we do not compete with USPS (or Click-n-Ship). We are an alternative to standing in line at your local post office.
One last item - we don't keep your surplus if you close your account. Our terms of service are clear and transparent. The _most_ we keep is 3% with a $1 minimum. Why? To help cover your credit card fees. We felt it would be better to do that instead of charging every transaction 2.9% + 30 cents (which a competitor does). You don't get charged this unless you cancel your account. And if your balance is less than the $1, you don't even get charged that.
If you would like to download your address book send a ticket to our support. They will be more than happy to export that for you. Additionally, as a long term user you are entitled to a discount on the new $4.99 monthly plan. The discount shows on the Your Subscription page and reduces that price for the next 12 months.
If you need nearly every option the post office offers - without the "bells and whistles", the basic account is just like it always has been - free.

I am shocked that this business can…
I am shocked that this business can exist I can't say that they are providing a great service at an amazing price because they are not charging me for their service.
I mail letters very sporadically some months I can go with not sending any letters other months it can be over 10 letters.
In the past I would print the letters, address the envelopes in Word and then after printing the envelopes I would go to the post office and using their kiosk buy the minimum amount of postage I could and mail the letters. If I had stamps left over I would bring them home where there was a strong possibility of losing them.
I considered singing up with a service like Stamps.com because of all the mailers I get from them but I just could not justify paying them a monthly fee for a service I might use.
Then I found Orange Mailer. Yes the interface is "outdated" but it works. Yes they don't have a way to print envelopes from Microsoft Word so I have to type the address in on Orange Mailer web page. Yes you can not deposit less than $10.00 at a time which is an issue because with postage being .55 cents or .58 cents there will always be cents remaining that you can't use, it is still much less than what you would be paying Stamps.com for service on top of buying postage.
I am very glad I found this service and can recommend them.
