I have NEVER had an insurance company that works so hard to DENY customers the money they deserve. Denying claims with no explanation, transferring you for hours from one representative to another, and keep that going for months till the customer gives up. Even the support team is unreachable. the phone number on the site is not the right one, and it gets you to some service they are trying to sign you for. Optum, You are a fraud.

Ordered from Optum and haven’t received order. They won’t return my emails

BEWARE... Absolutely horrible! They were assigned by my insurance. I've had the miserable experience of having to use them for 3 months and I'm now trying to change companies. In 3 months not once has an order been correct. A pharmacist went as far as insinuating I was a liar! Patient navigator are inept and deliveries are usually to the wrong place! I'm a retired RN and I hate to think what happens to patients with no medical knowledge!! UNSAFE! I will add that most nurses are good and the dieticians are wonderful..m

Just change how much they charge and tell you nothing. Need PA for everything and it takes weeks. Online tells you you have 3 claims, but won’t let you view them. Why does BC/BS use them

Their automatic system was not accurate. Even though I canceled a subscription, they sent it to me. Also, they charged double and refunded it one week later due to their system error. I did not need it, so I returned it based on their return kit. However, they did not refund it. After several times phone calls, they agreed to refund it. Their system was not accurate, and it seemed like a person.

My husbamd got out of hospital and I called may 21,2024 about meds they sent script for. Was told they had it and could be expedited. Did not receive it and called again may 28,2024. Was then told they didn't have script on 21st but did now and again would expedite it but would be 5 to 10 days. So my husband has to do without meds because these people were not honest the first time I called. Had they said they did not have script I could have done something then and my husband would not be without meds for 2 or 3 weeks.

Received a link that my virtual visit was ready to begin, after 20 minutes the dr still had not shown up. Unfortunately this happened twice! All said and done two hours were wasted downloading the app setting up the account logging in and waiting and waiting and waiting. Gave up and went to urgent care. How disappointing!

It took 60+ minutes for my urgent online/telehealth visit to occur. It took 5+ calls to them to attempt to follow up on the prescription being phoned in to a local pharmacy, while out of town and on the move. I am advised it was definitely called in though the national chain says it wasn't. Optum staff insisted it takes up to 4-8hr for turnaround on requesting it called back in or transferred to another location. Over 24hr later, back home and I still cannot get the Rx successfully sent somewhere local, though nobody got it when we were out of town either. I will likely go to an in person urgent care option over using Optum ever again.
