They quit filling my Repatha. I was told my doctor did not complete the required paperwork. My doctor has always filled out the paperwork before. They are very capable and understand the procedure. Optum Rx is used by United Healthcare insurance. UnitedHealth also uses Well Med. Another way to increase your co pay.

Horrific company who is somehow proud of their incompetence. I take a lot of very serious medication (had cancer twice). They will send an email stating a prescription has been canceled with no explanation and a note saying, "you must take action". I called and the first person could not see any reason for the cancelation. The second person I was transferred to experienced the same. Third person, was rude and said that the prior authorization provided by my doctor on 5/7/2024 was not acceptable. Why am I just now hearing about this AND it is in my list of previously approved prescriptions. I believe that their goal in life is to cause mental health issues so that you need additional medication. After that call, I feel mentally abused and fully disrespected. I wish I had another option but per my insurance, I am forced to use OptumRX OR I can go to my preferred pharmacy and pay 100% out of pocket. I am honestly being held hostage to this company who does not care even 1% because, they don't have to. I am stuck, and beyond frustrated. Most importantly, I do not have access to a very important medication for my basic survival needs. They should be extremely ashamed but, they do not care. Maybe if I die, they will mail the prescription after that.

I had my doctor sent a prescription July 19th and have not as yet gotten my medication. I have called many times and they say that they do not have any more and it will take many weeks till they get the medication. The medication is 5mg sleeping pills. They told me to go somewhere else. There was someone that impersonated a pharmacist. No name was given, just lies. I will not use them again even though I have used Optum for over 10 years.

What has happened to the medical field optum is horrible as soon as Dr Krieger decides to leave my family will definitely go elsewhere very sad it used to be a great group now all my doctors left since optum took over the big head honchos better wake up before the company goes down

My doctor called in a prescription for an albuterol rescue inhaler. At 10:34, I received an e-mail confirmation that my order was being processed. Six hours later, I got an e-mail saying that my order was cancelled because I no long had pharmacy benefits. I clicked on the links in the e-mail, which went to the Optum Rx site but timed out before any account came up. Then came the REALLY crazy part. 1) First person I called said I definitely had pharmacy benefits but could not find the order number on the e-mails 2) Second person I called said I had no pharmacy benefits. Couldn't look them up even though I could provide the date that my entire year's coverage was paid in advance and give the number on my card 3) One of the toll-free numbers on my card said "this number is not valid from your area" even though I was called from NYC 4) Next customer service person told me that I had coverage but had been sent no e-mails from Optum Rx 5) Fourth customer service person couldn't find prescription and said no one had e-mailed me or she would have a record (I guess I just get e-mails wildly at random). I pressed onward hoping to Optum to call the doctor's office requesting a new prescription. But that didn't work either because the only address and phone number she had was for an office he moved OUT OF THREE YEARS AGO. She didn't want the new one and couldn't use it because it didn't match the Optum Rx files. 6) So, on my last try I basically got someone in the Philippines telling me that if I get an asthma attack I can go to the emergency room There is absolutely no excuse not to have an up to date address for a doctor (especially when the "new" address is several years old). I would like to be reimbursed for my time trying to contact these people.

Horrible service on all fronts. They never filled my auto-refill prescription and int was necessary for me to call 3 times to get the Customer Service department to refill the script. The agents hardly spoke English, were rhetorical with their useless chatter and basically untrained and unprofessional. It took an hour to finally get the medication order filled and sent. I don't know if OptumRx has relocated their call center but this was the worst of multiple bad experiences I have ever had with this company. I will now look into having my local drugstore fill my scripts.

Just wondering why a prescription written on July 1st has just now been approved for shipping onJuly 19th? I made calls to determine if there was a problem somewhere.I have spoken to representatives from the Phillipines to the Midwest.I have been told the med was approved ,in the process of being approved and needed further improvement.I understand several faxes were sent from my doc's office to optum.

DO NOT GO HERE! Corrupt billing practices, sub-standard patient care, horrible customer service. I was charged a whopping $475 for a 10 min visit, where my health concern was not even resolved AND I had to wait 45 mins just to see the doctor. After several calls to customer care, they finally raised a formal request to look into the billing for me. I never received a call back with the results of the request. Then when I called back, they said they "left me a voicemail" but my phone has no such voicemail recorded. Please do not waste your money going to this clinic! My experience: Went in to see Dr. Edward Lee as a new patient. Completed all forms beforehand, arrived 10 mins early and still had to wait 45 mins just to see the doctor. My visit lasted 10 mins, doctor could not diagnose why my ear was ringing and referred me to an ENT though I insisted I did not want a referral. Said I had allergies and prescribed me a nasal spray, which I later realized is also available over-the-counter. This referral and prescription cost me $475.
