I went to urgent care in Poughkeepsie and was unfortunately treated by MaryLou Killian FNP. Zero bedside manner. She was miserable and didn't care what I had to say. Horrible experience. I left in tears.

Optum EASTl NJ is the worst. Their system provides tons of your personal information, but try to reach them by phone and you're screwed. Office visit with GP to renew statins, $480. Also, there is a $50 add for complex E/M? Phone system has kicked me out 6 times today. I've also send an email. Appt next week will be cancelled, need to find a new doctor. Optum has ruined Stafford Medical in NJ 08050

Terrible to deal with. I have a prescription that I receive every 6 months. I got a request to renew it. Fine. I did. A couple of days later I got another request to renew it and I did. Then I called my doc. He said he got the request and will be sending a script. Then I received another request for renewal. The person I talked to was actually processing my docs script at the time. No one seemed to realize that I should not have received 3 renewals. I finally got to talk to a tech person seemed not be be very bright. 3 times I had to tell her it was being process, but that I should receive 3 renewals when I have already renewed it once. She said they will process it and was there anything else she could help me with. That was 4 times. I had to tell her to pass it onto someone that could do something about it. But, I sincerly believe nothing will change.

William from Customer Service is a wonderful employee. He helped me with a problem nobody could fixes. My husband had 2 mini strokes and is not well. William straighted out the paperwork and I got the appointment.

This review is for their Tramway office in Albuquerque. My wife and I tested positive for Covid. So we called our PCP at this optum office. The nurse, who was the only one they would let us talk to, told us that only one Dr. there prescribes Paxlovid and he was out, so they couldn't help us. She advised us to go to urgent care. So with all the doctors there, NO ONE can prescribe an antiviral?? What kind of medical office is this? Plus, the nurse we talked didn't bother to tell us that pharmacists can prescribe Paxlovid. Was she just trying to get rid of us (terrible customer service ), or was she that incompetent? Time to get another PCP.

If I could give it a 0 if I could. . Customer service (phone system and web portal) the worst I have ever experienced. I'm only staying there because my Dr. is there. The reception desk is decent. But trying to get them to answer a call, or using the portal is awful.

I am increasingly convinced that it is an Optum policy to automatically deny any sizable HSA (RMA in my instance) claim for healthcare reimbursement. I live abroad and have been denied several times with the reason “Claim not in US Dollars”. No, it’s not, we don’t use Dollars in Europe. That’s why I documented the rate of exchange and converted the claim to USD when I submitted it. Upon appeal, I eventually get my money, but their appeal process takes weeks. I am currently in my 7th week of appeal for reimbursement of medical insurance premiums. A straightforward claim, the documentation of which was fine in 2023, but wasn’t accepted when I had to resubmit for 2024.
