I have been using OptinMonster for a little over a month. First, the service has worked. It has almost tripled my email opt-ins. It's easy to use and customize to how you want it to look. Simply put, it works. HOWEVER, I've had major issues with the billing. They do nickel and dime you for every little feature. Which is annoying, but a common feature these days in companies. But my big issues are with them charging me a different amount then what was agreed too. When I upgraded my account the total was listed as $146.64 after some promos they were running. I clicked agree to complete the checkout. Later I went to my billing history to see they instead had charged me $225.60... Substantially more than what I agreed to. I thought it might be a one off mistake. I contacted them and within a day or two it was corrected. About a month later I need to add some more page views (one of those nickel and dining gimmicks). It was listed as $29 a month that would be charge monthly until cancelled. I clicked agree. I went over to my billing and say that I was charged $989. WHAT?! That's not even close to what we agreed too. I'm not sure how a company can get away with these kinds of egregious practices. I would avoid this service. Or if you decide to go with it be VERY careful that they charge you the correct amount.

OptinMonster was a great form builder to begin with. But with the new 2.0 WordPress plugin it has become even better. The plugin can be used to view & edit existing campaigns, and even create new ones. All from within WordPress.

I've been implementing some popups and slider ads using OptinMonster. I have to say, this Saas is absolutely outstanding. The interface is easy to use, the targeting functionality is super granular and easy to understand, and the layout templates are a great help. Well done OptinMonster!

They make me select a star so that's why they have a 1, not a 0, which is what they should have. Atrocious customer service. Shady as ****. I enrolled in their service when purchasing a website, never actually used it because I found a better option and then tried to cancel it. Their website *does not work*. You fill out contact forms and never hear back from anyone. You try their help chat and get told to fill out a form and that they can't help you despite being, you know, *a help chat*... I finally was able to get back into my account to cancel it but it only worked when it was four days after the autocharge day. They charged me for an entire year's worth of services. I tried to contact them and never heard back. I disputed the charge with my bank and they sent my bank documentation saying I had cancelled after the date... well, yeah! Because I couldn't get through to anybody at the company! I am still waiting to hear back from someone about my refund. Do not get scammed by these people. Choose literally any other email service instead!

Nailed it - best thing i've used in terms of UX experience for a while - got going in 30 mins with what i wanted and it's working great. Worth the money
