My regular bank shows money moved into my Openbank account but it doesn't reflect on their side and when I try to check the transfer history it shows an error. I can't follow my transfer and they are not open except during business hours. They need to have a more reliable system and 24 hour customer support in emergencies when there is an issue. Banking shouldn't be stressful.

Opened and closed my account within 12 hours, all because they don’t have the ability to change a customer user name and lack of options to keep my new business. The typo was my mistake. The poor online account architecture and customer support was theirs. Thankfully I never got to the actual point of transferring funds and happy to move onto one of their competitors. I do hate that I gave them such sensitive financial information for nothing though.

Please avoid these people at all cost. They deliberately make it almost impossible for people to withdraw their own money. I have been trying to move my money for the past three days and it keeps saying ‘something went wrong’. I have spent over 5 hours on the phone with different clueless customer service people and can I blow your mind? Not one of them is able to tell me why I can’t get my money out, not even a single reason.

I opened up a High Yield Savings account with Openbank because they partnered with Verzion my cell company and for the amount I opened the account up for, I would receive $15 a month off my cell phone bill. I transferred the money, went through the process of confirming the two small (less than a dollar) deposits from Openbank. Once my financial account was confirmed, I transferred the initial large sum into the HYSA. It came out of my bank acct on the 18th. It then took Openbank two full business days to process it on their side. At this point they put my account on hold, said it is under review and they will call me to clear this up. The customer service rep, which is not in the United States could not help and said it would have to be somebody from a different department to call me, but did offer for a supervisor to call me. We will see. All of this is an absolute scam to ensure they pay the least amount of interest possible by holding your money for "processing" for days upon end. I will be removing my money promptly tomorrow and moving it back to Ally Savings. Everything with them is 24 business hours. Never failed. Not one time. Getting .8% lower on APR is worth it instead of dealing with the hassle that is Openbank.

All ok until i changed my phone number, after that i never gained access to my account again. Thank god i had linked this acct with another bank so i could externally transfer my funds back. Customer service communication with tech support/ fraud prevention is completely disjointed and they have next to no communication with each other. The best they can do is write a trouble ticket and tell you someone will be in touch. Tomorrow will be 10 days for me and i have not been contacted at by anyone. Update: External transfers were denied and my account is now frozen. Tomorrow will be 1 month and 1 day since I last had access to my HYSA. Santander are crooks, knowing full well that freezing an account does not require them to pay any interest. Legal action we be taken tomorrow.

Openbank is a bank not to do business with, in my opinion. I made a transfer request in July to my primary bank and the transaction still has not been made. Openbank is showing that they made a transfer, but my bank is showing no such transaction. I talked with 3 people this morning who gave me the run around and told me to call on Tuesday. As so as I get my money out of this bank I will be done with them. I would not recommend this bank to deposit your money into.

It’s nearly impossible to withdraw money from the account. They don’t do wire transfer which many banks require for a large amount as soon as I can get my money out, I’m closing my account.
