My workplace let me order a gift from Goody but Goody sent me the wrong item. Even the packing slip didn’t match the item I ordered. Getting in touch with a human at Goody was challenging as their first point of contact is a chatbot. After a day I reach out again and a human finally responds. I emailed them proof that they sent me the wrong item and they tell me they need to reach out to the team to figure out next steps. Mind-boggling. Well despite this being a pretty straight forward issue and solution, they’ve yet to get “back in touch”. Goody may have the worst customer experience of any online retail I’ve ever encountered.

Awful customer service
Awful customer service. One of those platforms where if things go well it is probably fine and I was even impressed with their selection and UX design at first. But when my gift never arrived, I could not get a person to connect with. They rely solely on "AI Assistants" which is super helpful if it eventually leads you to a service support team but it does not. This is not human-centered and I hope they change their approach.

This is a scam company
This is a scam company. They do not refund what you don't spend, and when you try to spend your balance, they change it to charge your card again anyway. They should be investigated and put out of business.

Don't Do It
I have had to contact support eight times in three months. One gift I received came damaged and now its replacement was never delivered. Support takes many hours to respond then closes chats before anything is resolved. Use literally any other corporate gifting company; this one is the pits.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience, both on selecting a gift and customer service.
I was gifted credit to select from Goody's selection, their website provided me an option to thank the gifter back. But after sending the note their website automatically selected their "best seller" product for me without any process of approval or check out. The product? A set of travel kit liquid essentials, I doubt anyone is actually selecting these. It makes me feel they are pushing products down on taking people's credit.
Customer service was hopeless, you get an "AI" response and could never get ahold of an actual person. At some point a person respond to the chat just to say they are closing it, no actual attempt to resolve issue or ask.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. They never answer their phone, terminate active support chats, and do not respond to emails. It's basically like they're trying to prevent me from spending the money I have in my account so they can just keep it. There are so many of these corp gift places now. AVOID Goody!!

DON'T give them your personal payment info.
We trusted Goody for Employee Appreciation Day--on the surface, what a great solution! We can get each employee a little gift while making sure they get exactly what they want!
I was given a budget from work, so I loaded a balance into my Goody account from my work credit card. Because we have an odd number of employees, I listed my personal credit card in my account, as well, with the intention of personally contributing what was needed to cover gifts for our entire staff.
Imagine my surprise when, after a day of staff members claiming their gifts, I found that the gifts weren't coming from the balance contributed from my work credit card, but my personal credit card! I reached out to support to explain my intention and understanding, and requesting that this be remedied.
I was told that moving forward, future gifts will be coming out of the balance, not my personal credit card. However, they would not refund the charges to my personal card and deduct from the balance. I was told by Abby via website chat that they are very sorry, but there's no way they can make this right.
I asked why, so I could explain that to you, dear reader, but have not received a satisfactory response.
I'll never use Goody again.
Thank you for reading my review.
