Olympia BuildingsReviews of olympiabuildings.com

Tim Semph is definitely an asset to the company. He always returns my calls promptly and is an absolute pleasure to work with, always very professional and courteous. We bought our second building this year and Tim is the reason we are a returning customer. The building are amazing, very well built and easy to assemble, however without Tim’s customer service, we would have bought elsewhere Jerry and Sandy Murray

“Highly Recommend! I purchased a 40’x60’ building to store my motorhome. My sales person Alex, was knowledgeable and patient. He helped me through every step of the process. I got my building a few weeks ago and am happy with the quality. Looking forward to seeing the finished product

Update - Thanks to Victor, we have reached a settlement that works for both parties. I am satisfied and appreciate him reaching out. UPDATE 7/21/22 ust wanted to update the post from earlier. NOW Mr. Smith says we owe $36.050 on a building that only cost $15,700 and we put down a deposit of $4710 after they harassed us. So he has conjured some crazy number from thin air or maybe he was confused by another customer he needed to respond to on the BBB. Crazy he is threatening us again with court even though he knows he owes us $2,000 plus our $4710 deposit. We didn't even ask for the $4,000 to finish our porch which he told us to get the quote on the porch they didn't finish. This guy is crazy if he thinks he can bully a woman and come up with numbers that are not on our contract. But then again they breach contracts and that's OK but a customer does it and they threaten and bully. RUN away from this company!!!! Sales guy was great…until we didn’t want the 2nd building we asked about. Then pressure tactics and over a month of emails asking if we wanted it and when we were doing our deposit. When we said we didn’t want it more pressure and emails. HUGE problems with building #1 including missing parts and changing the color of the gutters and downspouts from the contracted color which they ran out of to another color that looks terrible. Arthur smith spent a lot of time MANsplaining things to me yet could not copy and paste without me telling him how to do it step by step. This has been a horrible experience. Filed with the BBB to get our deposit back on building #2 which we felt pressured to buy and the $2000 they promised us for missing parts of building #1. Their contractor also ghosted us after trying 3 times to schedule him and the company not helping us get another contractor. DO NOT recommend. Save your money and read the other reviews and BBB complaints. They are ALL true and they use threats to get you to buy and then shut you up from disclosing problems

I loved our sales person, truly. Nice, funny, responsive. I trusted him. So, when the quote came in and the pressure was on to sign the contract, I asked if the bottom line was all that we owed. Was told yes. I didn't read the fine print - I trusted him. READ THE FINE PRINT!!! Was told we didn't need a lift to remove it from the delivery truck - but we did. Cha ching - that's another $750. Above the deposit, there was also another $2k owed that our sales person told us we didn't need to pay because it was waved due to the fact that another person ordered and cancelled their order. I explained this-asked to speak to her supervisor who was screaming at me on the phone. I said my piece and was told there were 2 clerical errors. Not my fault - but I still have to pay it because the math adds up. I asked to speak to HER supervisor - the VP of the company. He, too, raised his voice. At the end of the day, he said he would refund the lift fee but put on the guilt by saying the sales rep is on disability and works for Uber to feed his kids and it would come out of HIS pocket. I was mortified! 1. his salesperson's personal business is not mine to know. 2. That's like making a waitress pay for a dropped plate. BAD BUSINESS. This was nothing but a sh!t show! Never again - I regret this decision. I should have read the reviews prior to making a decision to go with this company.

Do not buy one of these pre-fab buildings from Olympia Steel if you are going to use their contractor “in the area” to put one up. We have been waiting over a year to get this 30x40 built. No local contractors want to mess with it. The contractor for the area won’t show up when the concrete is poured like he says he will. Won’t show up at all. I keep getting the next month, three weeks, next month time frame. If you have the equipment to build this by yourself then this building could possibly work for you. If not do not believe they have some one to come out. 13 months and a lot of money vested and I have a pretty concrete slab and not much else.

I pretty much had the same experience as another post.the Orig buyer backed out Bs.well I bought the abs from Charles a big Talker put a 5 k deposit down from there it was all down hill.never got the building really should have pursued it and sued them .Ended up getting credited for my 5 k to use for another building same size or larger within 2 years .the company is garbage as well as the product .stay away and watch out for smooth talker Charlie boy.

Not impressed with Olympia at all! We ordered a second building because everything went so well the first time..guess time takes a toll on a company. Long story short the new building has tons of issues and the roll up door openings were not the size I requested. I called the salesman who wasn't helpful and wanted to charge me a huge amount of money to send the correct parts on top of the huge building cost I already paid! Then I called just to talk to the parts dept. Said I would get a call back, two months has gone by no phone call. We are now putting up the building only to find that the grey I thought I was getting is almost white and not the same grey as we have on the previous building. The building isnt the same quality and the all the beams showed up red instead of grey so now I have to paint them as no one told me they would be red. This entire build has been completely disappointing and frustrating as nothing is the same. I would not recommend them to anyone and will never by from them again.

Same experience as others. Inquired about a 30x40 building. Received a call the next day saying they have a building that just got out of production and the previous buyer decided not to buy it. Pulls of the "It's only 30x38, it's similar to what you want but you can get it now" Ben, who I was speaking to that said he was only the truck driver, said the info he has is the building cost $19780 originally, then total pay off amount is $14950 because the previous owner decided to back out, then proceed to tell me it's actually $13500 delivered. I asked for him to send me an email of everything, he said he can't. I told him I will think about it, and proceed to force me into buying the building for a couple of minutes. Buyer beware.
