My sales person with Olympia was the only thing great. They gave me the contractor to use to errect our building over a year ago. We have been repeatedly lied to about getting the building erected. No one local will errect the building because we did not purchase it from them. we have invested over 100,000 and it has laid on the ground for a year. DO NOT PURCHASE A BUILDING unless you have a contract in writing for errection. we would have not purchased the building had we known this was a problem. I have kept every text about using the contractor for our building and the promises made and broken. then when I contact Olympia they tell me it's not their responsibility to errect building. well that is not how it was sold to us.

Watch out for this company gave them a 10k deposit and they never delivered the building now i have to get a lawyer and sue them. They are very sketchy and lie very bad. Oh and they will say that they had to resell it. But they never showed up on the delivery date after after it was scheduled!!! I hired a crew of guys and a 4x4 fork lift to remove it from their delivery truck but they never showed!! Took a $10,000 deposit and never showed up!! Then tried to say to my lawyer the $10,000 were for drawings haha company is corrupt! Oh and be careful their contract is ridiculous and they make you rent a 4x4 fork lift because they won't unload the building! Craziness they love to lie. We were ready for delivery and had a date set don't keep lieing. You didn't show on delivery day!

I don't know how Universal Steel Building corp, R & N Steel and Olympia Steel are related, but they are all intermingled. We ordered a very large building (Olympia steel) and repeatedly said since it's remote and we don't live there, we need everything delivered at one time. They never once mentioned that they (Olympia steel) outsource just about everything (which I believe R & N Steel makes the roofing pieces for them but both are under the Universal Steel corp). They gave us a delivery date of early June and we had arranged for a builder to assemble (they don't have crews to go outside PA). The contractor only had open mid-June through first week of July. They had delivery date early June and they made sure we'd have the COD cashiers check to pay in full. We drove 8+ hours there and only received the side pieces (made by Olympia steel). Once they had our money in full, then they ordered the roofing and insulation. About 5-6 trips later and 2 no show deliveries (A Duie Pyle is a pile of ...). By then it was mid-July and we missed our opportunity for the assembly. Now the original contractor doesn't have time for us and stopped communicating all together. Finally found a new one, so I'm praying all the pieces are actually there. Absolutely horrible experience. Excuses and no communication. They pointed the finger at us because in the super fine print of the many pages of contract, which no one reads every word of anyway, it says under their discretion they can break up deliveries. Wouldn't recommend them, especially for out of state buildings. Also found out the blueprints do not have the specs for installing the roofing!

These guys are ridiculously high pressure to get you to make a down payment. Make sure to read their terms and conditions, it’s a nightmare of one sided items favorable to them. As you can read in other reviews, they claim to have one that is close to the size you need and try to get you to make a down payment. I think my favorite part was the fork lift driver telling me he had read the contract a 100 times and to have our lawyer call him to review and when I declined to sign, he text me the clown emoji.

PLEASE PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I purchased a building from them 12-02-2022 and have received nothing but lies and rude responses from the sales man and the manager. I’ve been requesting information and building specs on my building for 2 weeks and have been hung up on by the managers, been given rude replies and nasty texts from the salesman Bill, and told the exact words of ,”Good Luck on getting your material!” From the sales manager. All I’ve asked was what size J bolts are needed to be wet set in concrete to secure the building. No one will answer, no one will call back, and now I have been asked to wait 2 more weeks for my “engineered drawings” after already past the date promised. The Bill, the sales man, stayed up to 11pm pestering me for deposit on structure. After production a $10,000 deposit I can’t get him to answer a call, I can’t get a straight answer about fasteners and told I need to wait until the building is delivered to epoxy the bolted into concrete. That they don’t provide this material even though the manager agreed to cover the material. Today is 9 days I’ve been calling, still no answer, still no responses and still no drawing. Don’t be a victim of this. Don’t trust a word they tell you, don’t expect anything other than rude, unprofessional, and dishonest customer service out of this company. Here I’ve spent 10 years trying to accomplish my goal, excited about my purchase, expecting outstanding service, and eager to get started when all I’ve been given is a nightmare experience.

Ken Ray from Olympia Steel Buildings was condescending to women and unable to get a quote together for us, despite being given the dimensions. He told me it was going to be too expensive and assumed I couldn't afford it. We will never know because I am never going to give this rude company our business. I suggest you don't either. He is an unprofessional, slick talking salesman with no actual information.

Do not buy one of these pre-fab buildings from Olympia Steel if you are going to use their contractor “in the area” to put one up. We have been waiting over a year to get this 30x40 built. No local contractors want to mess with it. The contractor for the area won’t show up when the concrete is poured like he says he will. Won’t show up at all. I keep getting the next month, three weeks, next month time frame. If you have the equipment to build this by yourself then this building could possibly work for you. If not do not believe they have some one to come out. 13 months and a lot of money vested and I have a pretty concrete slab and not much else.

I pretty much had the same experience as another post.the Orig buyer backed out Bs.well I bought the abs from Charles a big Talker put a 5 k deposit down from there it was all down hill.never got the building really should have pursued it and sued them .Ended up getting credited for my 5 k to use for another building same size or larger within 2 years .the company is garbage as well as the product .stay away and watch out for smooth talker Charlie boy.
