OLAPLEX BURNS THE SCALP From the first time Olaplex was used on my hair I felt a burning scalp. I told my hairdresser not to use any Olaplex on my hair because of my bad reaction to it. She still put in my color (unknown to me) and the last time I had my hair colored on Christmas Eve I ended up spending both that night and Christmas Day washing my hair to stop the burning. When I told her what happened she confessed she had been putting it my color. When I got upset she kicked me out of her shop. Insulting the product was like insulting her. Olaplex had hairdressers believing this was the best product ever, and she was an avid believer. Shame on Olaplex for causing so many people pain and discomfort from their hideous products. I wouldn't blame anyone for suing this company.

I've very dry over bleached hair, this stuff is amazing, from the first wash I noticed a difference straight away. Hair felt somewhat softer, im able to go 3/4 days between washes and honestly have far less hair shedding. I did purchase this as a last resort and so glad I have.

Really awful product. My daughter bought a combo set of 3 from look fantastic. She followed instructions to the letter. It burned her scalp leaving her with bright red skin and painful blisters. Now her skin is shedding with huge dandruff flakes. Facebook has a whole page dedicated to people who have been damaged by this. Use at your peril.

We spent three months up in the mountains during last summer. I am leaving my gray grow, so I decided to use only use Olaplex 4, 5 and 7 bonding oil.I never exposed my hair to the sun or any chemicals. My hair started getting very dry after shampooing it, so I used the other products. It look better after, but I noticed I was losing a lot of hair every three days when I washed my hair. I only air dryed my hair during those three months, no hair dryer or heat tools. I did not think it was the products I was using until I decided to switch to a different brand. I also got the new blue shampoo and I had to return it at Ulta as my hair got extremely dry after my first shampoo. I will never use these products again. I put all of it in the trash. I never expected such expensive products to be so damaging. I ended with broken hair and a lot of money wasted.

I started with 6,7,9. My hair looked shinier, but no real improvement. So I got 0,3,4,5. Within 2 weeks I noticed my hair breaking off when I went to style it. I didn't think much of it and tries another round of 0 and 3 together and lay off the hair tools. A month later my hair is falling out, patches of dry skin on my scalp and my hair is frizzy and uneven, and feels dry like I've been bleaching it (I havent). The problem it claims to fix and prevent caused more of the same. Terrible product. The only thing I like about it is the scent.

Olaplex completely ruined my hair. I bought it at Sephora. My hairdresser told me to stop using it immediately as other clients also had terrible results. This product should be taken off the market

My scalp ended up extremely dry, itchy with a burning sensation on small parts of my head. My hair started to fall out at an alarming rate but I never once thought it was the olaplex. I stopped dying my hair switched to hypoallergenic products and even visited my doctor. It wasn't until I spoke to my hairdressers when I finally found out that lots of people have these symptoms after using olaplex and she advised me to stop using it immediately. My scalp has since improved but still sensitive and itchy while my hair has dramatically improved. I think more people should be aware of bad reactions with this product.

Used it twice on my dry course wavy hair and just not impressed at all. Seemed after a day my hair was much more course. Back to revlon one. Quarter of the price and much better
