I went into Office Depot on 1792 in Orlando to print an email. As I alway have, I sent the email to the Office Depot that I was in and I got in line and waited with many others for about 10 minutes or so. I started to talk to the lady behind me about the long wait. She asked if I had signed in at the computer... apparently you need to sign in and get in a cyber line, which I didn't know. I went to the computer and had to enter all kinds of information and then got back in line (at the end of the line). I got a email from Office Depot saying that I should go to one of the "self service" printers and putt up my email on the printer. I thought I needed to pull up the email that I had sent to the location when I got in line but after several minutes I figured out that I needed to resend the email to a different address. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to send the email, pull it up on the printer and print it. Office Depot is trying to save themselves to prosperity by reducing customer service by cutting labor. Instead, they have slightly reduced labor which will result in big reductions in revenue. I use to buy office supplies at Office Depot but, after this experience I see no value in shopping brick and mortar. After all, if there is no customer service what's the value. I went home, got on Amazon and ordered a printer/scanner. I will never go back to Office Depot for anything.
