Dear Management, WEED OUT "BAD APPLES"
Dear Management, My name is Vernon Deck I have been a long time customer and almost exclusively purchase my office needs in your store, and brought goodies during the holidays. Please let me explain my utmost DISAPPOINTMENT with my most recent visit. Until now I have only Praised your staff, that has dramatically changed with that visit. Actually it transpired over two visits. On July 8, 2021 I came into the Roseville store #928 about 8:30 pm to print digital photos ordered by the Placer County Superior Court to produce and file by July 9, 2021. Malcom helped me find them by, date, and I sent one file over from my phone. I appreciated his help so he could produce what the court requested of me. The second and third files would not send at about 8:40 p.m., and we tried several times to push them through. Marie came into the print center after the first file sent. She did not say a word on y stood by with a 1/2 smile on her face as Malcom and I struggled to resize and resend the images, but we had no internet connection. He recommended that I go home to access through my modem. Marie was right there, no other customers or staff were near. Malcom said he was in at opening and would complete the printing then. I went home and tried to send several times without success. Then...... it dawned on me, Marie had turned off the stores internet connection, came to be amused as Malcom wasted employee time and I became frustrated attempting to push the pics. On the morning of July 9, 20021, I tried again about 6:30 a.m. but they wouldn't go through. I checked again about 8:25 a.m. and they had SENT. I called Malcom immediately and he said he he just saw they came over and he would print them right away, but to give him till about 11 a.m. when I could come pick them up. I asked if Marie was in again, he said '"no". I didn't get back to the store till 1:20 p.m. running to get things to the court by 2 p.m. before the court closed. Malcom said he had not printed the job. Now he seemed to stall asking a lot of questions, and juggling a few walk-ins. This didn't seem like him, was he being told . It was about 2:10 p.m. when I inserted the photos into my exhibits, paid and raced to the court, very stressed and hoping there was some slight chance I'd meet my deadline. On Fridays the court used to close an hour early, due to COVID. Hours must have changed again recently, because when I got inside it was evident that the clerks' windows were still open. I did get the documents in, barely, but they were in! When I got home I went through the pics I had just turned in, they were darker than my photos, some quite a bit, and appear to have been darkened, was that part of the stalling? Now I am getting angry looking back at Marie's apparent games with her employee, and with me your customer. My transactions would have been completed on July 8 for inputting, and printed first thing in the morning as I was told until the internet was cut off. Marie's attitude to mess with customers and employee's heads should be known by corporate On a simply human level... this is wrong! On a business level... NO CUSTOMER should be harassed like this....INTENTIONALLY. I'm old enough to know this is NOT good customer service or employee appreciation, and will ruin your staff, then your company. I'm certain I am not the only person who's felt this with her. LET ME KNOW WHEN SHE'S FIRED, I'd love to come back, and bring my friends, besides Your employees deserve better too AND CORPORATE NEEDS TO WEED HER OUT!
