It just works!
Finding and receiving the proper prescription is easy and prompt. The regular follow-ups and check ins are helpful and appreciated. I didn't like how much I was drinking on a daily basis. With a family history of alcoholism, I've always been watchful of my drinking but I felt that the urges were getting too strong. I started in April. The urges are gone. I no longer associate alcohol with dinner out, social gatherings, or stressful days (and there have been). I've lost 15 pounds mostly due to the curbed appetite. I do have a mild headache every so often but that I can live with. I renewed for another 3 months just to be sure, but I feel at this point I am in a really great place. Thank you for what you do.

Simple plan with no pressure

This medication has been an answer to a prayer. Seriously. I no longer think of drinking all the time, and alcohol just doesn’t taste good to me anymore. Thank you Jesus for this company and medication!

Oar Health works
I have struggled for years with my relationship with alcohol. I have done all the things, count drinks, dry January, drink only on the weekends but was never successful at decreasing the amount I was drinking. Since starting with Oar health I have finally found some control. I am very thankful for this program. I look forward to finally being the one in control and not the alcohol.

Still Moving Forward
I continue to do well more than five weeks into the program. OAR provides great support resources although i haven't had to use them more than a couple of times for quick questions. Responses have been timely, positive, useful and encouraging. To test where I am at, I had a beer two nights this weekend. I didn't feel any compulsion to have more and enjoyed them without craving more. That's very cool !. Since I passed that test, I feel no need to test further and will move back to abstaining fully for the forseeable NOW. My decision to work within the OAR program ranks as one of the most self-efficacious decisions I have ever made. I am feeling newly empowered and eager to continue my healthful ways. Additionally, choosing to forego drinking has given me more energy and motivation to do the leg/back PT I need to heal those issues. Beyond the issue of drinking, I am truly beginning to understand and practice what "living one day at a time" means and entails. Double bravo to OAR.
