Ilike that Oar checks on me and that I…
My three week experience. I like that Oar checks on me and that I can talk to a nurse I can talk to a doctor or nurse and discuss my treatment. It is not one size fits all.

This medication works
This medication works. The alcohol cravings have lessened greatly. It is helping me to stay alcohol free.

Stop drinking
In just 2 weeks I have almost lost the desire to drink. This pill is amazing. I have had a couple of drink and I noticed you don’t get the high from the alcohol. Hopefully in a few months time I’ll be completely off alcohol. Thank uou

Congratulations on your amazing progress! It is great news that you are noticing that alcohol is less rewarding when taking your prescribed medication, as this is one of the primary ways in which the medication reduces the desire to drink and thereby makes it easier to drink less or get completely off of alcohol. I am only 2 weeks into my journey so…
I am only 2 weeks into my journey so think it is unfair to provide my opinion. I am taking the prescription as prescribed. I experience side effects as described, but continue with the prescribed dose. I have cut back on my drinking because I want success. Ask me again after 3 months…

They do often dissipate with continued use, so hang in there! I also think you are wise to take the long view. Taking back control over alcohol is a marathon, not a sprint, for most of us. Helping me to drink less
Helping me to drink less, being positive and celebrating small wins. I don’t feel sense of failure when I’m not “perfect”, gives me hope. Don’t feel shamed. Although my habit still has me reaching for a drink on days when I’m not overly motivated, I am drinking way less.
