Appointment schedulers lack training and understanding of available services as well as poor english communication skills. I tried three times to make an appointment and was never able to accomplish that simple task. This left me with a very poor impression of Oak Stree Health.

Just got a phone call from them, saying they were responding to my request for information about them about getting a Primary Care Provider. I stated that I had not made any such request since I had never heard of them. She repeatedly said I had requested that they contact me. She stated she would put me on their "do not call" list. I then did a computer search about them and learned they are a scam organization which preys on Medicare patients.

They failed to provide information up front on their fees, and are fees are not available online. Before you are seen by the NP, you MUST sign an authorization that states you're responsible for any unpaid balance after (in my case) Medicare and Tricare for Life pay the claims. That can add up to a hefty sum. I was never told if they accepted Tricare for Life or not. (I checked after my visit and it is not listed online as an accepted supplemental coverage.) They refer you to an insurance agent that provides information about supplemental plans if you drop your original Medicare, but they very well know changes can only be made during open season (Mid-October). Meanwhile, knowing this they make lab & visit appointments for you with no regard to the balances you will be responsible for. They make decisions for you instead of giving you information and then asking for your preferences. This review is regarding the Oracle clinic in Tucson.

This place is a total joke. I would have to travel 40 minutes one way. WHY THE HELL WOULD I LEAVE MY LONG TIME DOCTORS FOR THIS PIECE OF CRAP

I get a letter to my home saying congratulations on turning 65. Well I'm not turning 65. Anyway on the outside of the envelope it said there is a gift inside. There was no gift inside. These people are all about money as far as I understand as far as I can see. I would never do business with any of them. Have a nice day.

I wish I had read reviews and didn’t just listen to the commercials! They told me the first visit was an interview and was free- they tried to charge my insurance. I almost felt like it was a cult. The insurance lady wanted my Medicare sign in info-NO! I saw a nurse practitioner. Told her I’d had a little swelling in one leg- she prescribed a diuretic and told me to drink more water…. Then they had me come in for blood work- but not fasting. They then told me I wasn’t really a customer yet so I couldn’t get a referral for pain in my hip. And she didn’t feel comfortable prescribing me anything for pain since she hadn’t gotten blood work back. Worried about my kidneys- yet she prescribed a diuretic previously. Never again On El Mirage in Surprise

Refused to accept my husband as a patient. He has standard Medicare Part A & B. Refused stating that he couldn't be seen because his Medicare claim would be processed by an Arizona insurance company & he had a NM address. We go to AZ in the winter. Have traveled all over the US & NEVER Refused care using Medicare
