I would give 0 stars if I could. Website was never actually helpful to begin with. Then I found out that I was getting charged for a "free" subscription. Went to log in to the website and it says I am subscribed to "Numerade Free" and says "no upcoming charges". Nowhere on there does it say they have my card info and no where to remove payment. Tried to cancel my subscription but had already read that was worthless, so I called my bank instead. Total scam, not worth it, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO. I wish I had looked them up before doing the "free trial".

0 stars. Elaborate Scam.
0 stars.
(1) They scam using a bait and switch. They advertise that they possess answers to problems that they do not. Will not reveal that they do not have the answer until you sign up for a free trial
(2) Unethical, potentially illegal, cancellation process. Hence that it is a process. California law is supposed to make instant cancellation mandatory for online services. You need to fill out a cancellation request and wait for an email. Cancellation may take 5-10 days for a verdict (approval), but the free trial is 7 days so you may be granted cancellation after. I was informed that refunds, in any case, would also have to be requested where they are subject to approval.
ADVICE: Avoid the possible distress - cancel your card and get a brand new card before the billing date. After reading all the reviews, it is highly likely that you will see a charge, and continue to be charged, even after attempting to cancel or successfully canceling.
Report Numerade in an effort to help future users and stop the online scam:
Report them to the "Department of Consumer Affairs" in California. You can search their website on google and report a business. You won't find a software company in the list of businesses to report, so click the button under it, something like "report a business that doesn't fall under a category"
The company is based out of Santa Monica. I found this address online:
202 Bicknell Ave, Santa Monica, CA, 90405 US

DO NOT use Numerade
DO NOT give Numerade your credit/debit card information, money, or time! I desperately needed help on some math problems and I saw an add for Numerade and I thought, “What could go wrong?” Their website offered little to no help. Some of the videos were unclear and confusing. They also didn’t have most of the answers I needed and even some of the answers were incorrect. The worst part of all - I didn’t even get to choose my subscription and I was unknowingly charged $65/month??? When I went to unsubscribe I had to go through some stupid lengthy process where you had to submit a request. From what I’ve researched, some people just get ignored and they just continue to charge you monthly.
Advice: If you subscribed with a credit card go cancel it and get a new one. It’s suspicious that they have your cc information but won’t let you remove it. If you subscribed with PayPal you can unsubscribe easily without submitting a request. Numerade is a company based in California and one of the laws in California is that, “users who sign up online must be able to cancel their subscription immediately and at will by either a direct link or button on the website or a preformatted email that the consumer can send without adding additional information.” Yet here we are being lead into submitting requests for a cancellation. Report this POS company.

I am going to make this short
I am going to make this short: this company is a scam and will squeeze you of all your money by stealing your card info and repeatedly charging your card even after you requested to cancel your subscription.
My experience with numerade: Please I BEG you NOT to give this company any information about your card. They will SCAM you with all you got. I visited the website in search for some homework help and what prompted up was "sign up for free". So obviously, being the broke, desperate college student I am, I signed up and they asked for my card info, I then thought "ok if I have to subscribe for a week I'll do it". I then added a payment option via paypal, but surprisingly never was asked to choose a subscription. My first thought was "hell yeah, free homework help". Oh was I wrong, the help offered my Numerade was horrible, I did not get the help I thought I'd be given. On top of that I found out that I was automatically subscribed to a monthly subscription of $65 a MONTH?! And I was never notified that I was. Thank God I decided to check on my billing info! I tried to cancel my subscription, but the steps to follow proved to be difficult. I had to send a request, then follow an email with its list of steps to follow to cancel, but did not hear from them. My account was still being charged. Thank goodness I subscribed via paypal and canceled my subscription through there. Otherwise I would have to have get a new card entirely.

Horrible; worst site ever
Horrible. Never subscribed to begin with, somehow got hacked and have been billed an annual fee twice in the past 3 months. No answer with emails, won’t reimburse me, won’t unsubscribe me from it when I never subscribed

Won’t respond to emails to cancel subscription, will go ahead to charge your account and refuse to refund you. Basically thieves in a guise. Do not put your card information, they won’t let you remove it. THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!! SCAM ARTIST!!!
