When it ain't broke don't fix it. This is true with Number Barn customer support. I get competent living humans that want to help, whenever I need help, whether its a technology or setup question, or a ownership-transfer. They know their technology and they know how to resolve issues quickly. Great job!

My number was ported in 2 days. Their App has all futures such as Voicemail, call dialing, call farwarding, text message using my same number. Only problem in their mobile app. You can not delete messages in bulk or with swipe. If you want to delete messages, you have to go inside message and then you can delete. I have multiple number parked at Numberbarn. All in/out porting details are on their websites. Although they don't provide a phone number for customer service, their communication by email is perfect: quick response, comprehensive and detailed. I strongly recommend it.

I agree that the experience of deleting messages in the mobile app needs to be improved. It's definitely on our roadmap and will hopefully be addressed in not too much time.

DO NOT PORT YOUR CELL NUMBER HERE! I WARNED YOU! They convert your number to a landline and it will take 7-10 days to have it transferred back to a cell carrier. Verizon said that sometimes it can be done earlier, but not with the carrier NumberBarn has me under, so my number is being held captive by NumberBarn. EDIT: I see they replied, but go ahead and call Verizon. It takes 7-10 days, NOT 3-10, and it can not be shortened. I would go with Google Voice. It remains wireless and can be ported out in minutes.

Hi Tony, I'm very sorry to hear about your experience and can understand that any time without a working cell phone is distressing. Please allow us to explain the porting process a bit further. We regularly state that porting numbers away from NumberBarn can take anywhere from 3 to 10 business days. The reason for this is that our numbers are classified as landline/wireline and the conversion to a wireless number takes longer than a typical wireless-to-wireless port. If we could expedite this, we would. In reviewing your account, I see that your numbers actually ported out within 2-3 business days. That said, in no way is it ever our goal to "be jerks" to our customers. That's no way to run a business. Please, if you have any further concerns, don't hesitate to remain in contact with our customer support team.

I recently bought 2 lines. Those lines were from landline and when I was transferring to cellular carrier it took some time (2-3) days. But it was expected so everything proceed smoothly and I'm happy that I used their service.
