National UniversityReviews of nu.edu

I have received an outstanding education from National, and am proud to say that. Most of all of the instructors for these courses are veterans in our industry- providing clear insight & expectations for us as teachers. This program was rigorous and thorough. I feel that National did a great job of preparing me to enter into the classroom & provide the best learning opportunities for my students, by providing me the most relevant tools currently available.

A stellar University! I enrolled myself into NU in 2019 and graduated on 2021 with an associates while serving as active duty military. Currently, I am finishing my degree in Manufacturing Design Engineering to pursue the field of construction! Started as an immigrant with transcripts from another country, they accepted my courses (after being translated and verified by IERF.org) and I haven't stopped since! National University offers a variety of studies in fields you are most likely already on. I found the right fit with NU and going back to college gave me a higher sense of purpose in life. 11/10 would recommend to my colleagues! Oh wait, I already do!! Cheers!

Do not waste your time and money on this college. This place is a joke. Incompetent teachers and advisors. No communication, they never answer their phones. The teachers do not teach at all but want to put in a heavy two cents on your work when they literally do not teach the students at all whatsoever. I had emailed my counselor a few times to drop classes since they don’t pick up the phones and they read and respond AFTER the drop date and say you can’t get your money back since you didn’t request to drop the class in time even though you did. A few times I had to drop classes due to the pandemic and they failed to drop me and I received Fs for the classes and they refuse to help you petition. I have reached out to student concierge multiple times with complaints and have received zero response. I’ve even emailed the head of the school and nothing. Do not waste your money or pull out a loan for this place please for your own good. Zero education here.

I have had a poor experience at National. I know many who are quite happy but unfortunately, I am not one of them. I was handed off between advisors who didn’t listen to me or review my documents. Three different advisors told me three different things regarding which classes transferred or which classes were needed. If I hadn’t pushed back HARD I would’ve spent money to take classes I didn’t need because the advisors brushed off my questions. I had an advisor who liked to bully me when I asked questions. Reasonable questions were met with “I’m an advisor. Do you want my help or not?” The biggest problem is that you can’t even enroll in a class without an advisor. It took 7 phone calls to get my advisor changed and then it was out of the frying pan and into the fire. I tell all of my friends to spend their money elsewhere. Can my experience be rare? Of course that’s possible but what if you get my same experience? For reference, I was 20 years in business in NYC. In my role I had to enteract with local, state and federal offices and track and adhere to all of their rules, guidelines and policies. I am aware of how to do such things but National made it almost impossible to advance with the system they have in place.

My advisor was terrible at his job. My enrollment verification failed to get submitted on multiple occasions, resulting in my having to contact the VA on each occasion to figure out why I had not received my benefits. Forcing students, faculty, and staff to get an experimental drug that isn't FDA approved to attend class is disgusting. This institution needs a makeover in all areas.

I have already received one master's from NU and am now in another. I love the format and the professors are great. I would prefer in-person learning but am still happy with online!

The best online University ever. Just 4 weeks and you're dine with class

Very convenient schedules. Instructors and professors are communicative and very helpful. Advisors are always prompt I love that they offer free writing and math support as well as tutors through Wyzant. I recommend this Uni to everyone and especially busy Moms like me. I love NU!
