I was so impressed with my Loki knife, which I use primarily for the grill, I wanted another quality knife for kitchen use. I got the BJORN Series - Chef Knife for everyday use. I am impressed with the weight, sharpness, and versatility in the kitchen. My wife agrees it is very sharp, but feels it's too heavy. I'm okay with that so she uses her lighter, flimsy knifes and doesn't use mine. I love her, but she's not Norwegian so she doesn't understand!

Update: finally, after posting a negative review online, I received a message from customer service that they were disappointed to see my negative review and then provided me with tracking information for a package coming from China. The item arrived damage for the second time and I requested a refund. I placed an order the first week of December through a social media ad, which noted guaranteed arrival by Christmas. While I received ongoing tracking notification emails, they offered no real-time tracking on these items. When I reached out to customer service, they let me know the items would not arrive in time for Christmas and to monitor the tracking information for updates. Items finally arrived in duct-taped packing envelopes in mid-January, with one item cracked straight through. When I contacted customer service, they replied that they had initiated a replacement order immediately. That was 4 weeks ago. Despite my attempts to contact customer service for tracking info and updates, I haven't received any updates or the replacement item. Unfortunately, two and half months later my order is still incomplete. I will never purchase from this company again.

As advertised! Not too many things are, but this is a good one. Sharp, well constructed and a lot of fun to cook with! Bought the Lokie, gave one to my dad, another to my son. Nothing but great feedback. We cook a lot, a good knife is a pleasure to have. Will be shopping here more often.

I bought the Viking knife from the Loki Series and WOW I couldn’t believe how well it cut and how well balanced it felt in my hands. I went and ordered another knife, The Butcher. I highly recommend purchasing from the Northern Knife company even if you’re a beginner or experienced chef. You Won’t Be Disappointed.

I ordered my knife and of course USPS lost it. I called customer service and the lady I spoke with was so helpful she the got the new one shipped out asap. when I got the order I was shocked by the quality of this knife. it has replaced almost all of the other knifes in my kitchen. i have used it to field dress a deer and a hog so far and it was awesome. i will be getting more knifes from Northernknife for sure.

Hence, due to this busy season, our delivery takes longer than expected and sadly we don't have any control over our shipping partners. Anyhow, in the meantime, we have refunded you in full. You will receive your package within 2-5 business days. Still have NOT Received!! No tracking number, nothing. 69 years old and no clue what direction to go or take on this.
