Love the food. In fact my dog who has allergies has had her skin clear up since we switched to Nom Nom. No other fresh dog food has been able to do that including The Farmers Dog. One area that could be improved is the packaging. The rubber bands stick to the food and make it impossible to separate packs. Also, I buy for two dogs and can’t tell difference because the food is not labeled or separated when it arrives. Ollie had great packaging and I knew which food was for which dog. It would be good to have compostable packaging if possible too or something other than plastic.

I would give zero stars if I could. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The worsts customer service and clearly Nom Nom are thieves and have poor quality food as many reviews already say. My dog was allergic to it. Now I have to pay for vet bills and they did not want to refund my money. I got food delivered and changed earlier than my trial ended. It clearly says on the website before you sign up that AFTER your trial it would be a monthly subscription. The last time I checked a month is 30 days not 14 days. According to my bank statements, payments were pulled 14 days apart not 30 days. I still should be able to receive a FULL refund since I canceled before the 30 day money back guarantee. They only wanted to give me an exception of $50. Unacceptable! I didn’t even want the poor quality food. I would never waist my time doing this but this is wrong! The company needs to be reported to the business bureau.

Dogs love this food and it has made them more energetic and healthier.

Most all of the packs were thawed. Instructions said the meals would still be safe as long as they were still cold to touch. All previous orders arrived frozen.

We question the quality of their food based upon their product weight misrepresentation. And, the amount of potatoes and rice seems absorbent to the protein portion. We’ve been paying nearly $250 a month to feed our golden retriever “portions”, meaning we need to subsidize the NomNom food with our own. We noticed from the beginning that many packets appeared underweight and this past month they were so egregious we started weighing them. Many packets were more than 25% underweight. So NomNom claims your dog will obtain a “healthy weight”, sure, because they’re not being fed the calories they claim because their quality control, or by their choice, are not sending you what you’re paying for. We brought it to their attention by sending proof of photos of their food portions, unpackaged and unopened, on the scale, but it was obvious to see how underweight the packets were. We asked how their package date codes work and all we got was silence. This has been going on for months and their fix was to send a few packets as replacements. But, upon weighing some of them after defrost, the same issue remains. If a company can not maintain the weight that they advertise can you really trust their other quality control measures? And we’re not talking about a few grams, we’re talking about gross underweight. We think not. There are a lot of fresh dog food companies out there, and they are expensive. We should at least be getting what we paid for.

Our dog has been eating Nom Nom for about 6 weeks now and loves the food, especially the turkey and chicken. She's not crazy about the pork for some reason. She was having a lot of gas, very loose poops and was needing to go out once or twice during the night. We decided to try a diet change and the results have been dramatic. she is way less gassy (a very good thing :) ), has stopped needing to go out at night and her poops are normal. The food is expensive so we mix it with 'home-made' food, mostly vegetables, chicken and rice, and we find that to be a great compromise. Overall, we're thrilled that Jessie is feeling better and would definitely recommend trying Nom Nom.

My food is mostly potato not meat. There are no liver or organ meats for the added nutrients. It's very lacking. My homemade food is better and cheaper. The current package I have open was literally almost all potato and no meat.

One of our dogs was having a hard time at first, but now they love it so much! It's been great and they can't wait for meal time!
