Nick's BuildingReviews of nicksbuilding.com

Good quality slow processing Overall I would recommend to others

Doors were delivered as promised. It took 5 weeks from order to delivery. As a builder this seemed like an eternity but it was exactly what I was told. The doors are beautiful and customer is very happy with them. We did not order the casing but will next time. I would say I am very happy with this order.

The Door is beautiful and looks great. It arrived in a timely manner and was packaged very well. The door fits the jam perfectly. The only complaints I have are 1. The door has a port hole with Glass in it,at the bottom of the glass is stamped a rather obvious Nicks Building Supply logo etched into the glass which takes away from the classiness of the window. Also I am not a prude or prim and proper person but the T-Shirt Nick's sent with the door Stated "Well Hung". I am not a porn star and this is not something I would wear around my grand kids or in public. If the shirt had said "Nicks Doors" and something respectable I would have worn it in public. Great Product, excellent Craftsmanship, but not so much with everything. I would buy from them again.

The door was exactly how the picture looked online. It took a while for it to be made, but it was worth it. Amazing looking door.

The door is exactly as described in the order. We had to add a 1x4 to extend the moulding for brick, which we had asked for but did not receive. However, the quality of the final product was excellent. The shipping crate was secure and solid. Only issue was we were quoted a 6 week wait time and because of a glass sourcing or stocking issue, the time ran over 8 weeks. Would have appreciated a discount on the final payment for havin to wait so long, but none was offered. Overall, great product and customer service.

I spent a great deal of time making a decision on a new front door for my office. I selected a mahogany entry door unit in craftsmen style. The door is beautiful and exactly as described on their website. Took a long while to get here (6 weeks) but I expected that. Be warned when they tell you the crate is heavy and you better be ready to handle something that massive. This door unit crated was 700 lbs. I had 7 people ready to take it off the truck and I don't think we could have done it. Thankfully the driver had a lift gate and a dolly. Otherwise I don't know if we could have done it. He was able to get it in the building. I chose to finish the door unit myself and it has been a chore. Its actually well sanded when it got here but it's still a big job. The only complaint I had was that I paid $100 extra to have the shipping address changed to my shop building and that did not make it thru to the driver. I believe that mistake was on the carrier rather than Nicks. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

The product was perfect when I did receive it 4 weeks later than suppose to.... should have more interest in between services to assure that the client is satisfied and everything is up to date. ( sales and delivary departements)

Quality product door was also finished very nicely. Order to delivery time could be faster took about 3 weeks longer than expected
