Nick's BuildingReviews of nicksbuilding.com

Everybody was very helpful from sales to producing & shipping very professional

Beautiful Door. Nick's building supply was very easy to work with and communication was great.

My experience with this company was outstanding. Shipping was on schedule and quality of door is excellent. I highly recommend Nick's Building.

The door was excellent! The stain finish came out great you can tell they put some genuine love into there product. The only issue I had was when the door arrives for delivery. Nick Builders informs you once the door arrives its your responsibility to get it off the truck. So those who do not have a crew of friends available at a given moment or a forklift available. Just bust open the crate, take a long nail and hammer to unhinge the door from the frame. You and the driver can maneuver it from the truck to the ground where all you need is a dolly and away you go. Tip the driver and remove the crate from his/her truck and you are done.

The door I ordered is a beautiful solid mahogany with 3 decorative glass panes near the top. The packaging was great as was the customer service in all areas. Very pleased with this product and I receive many compliments. Love the door!! Thank you Nick's!!

I have now ordered from Nicks twice the prices are great, products are high quality and the service is superior. The only drawback is the shipping is rather high to New Mexico.

I was a little hesitant ordering such an expensive front door online without physically seeing it. I read almost all the reviews and the negative ones almost scared me away but I called and spoke to John about it and he made a good point - Folks don't like to take responsibility for their errors especially if they custom order a product and don't get it right so they come on here and vent. If you just double and triple check what you want there should be no issues whatsoever. Nicksbuilding makes it easy for you not to mess up and get what you want. For example they send an image on the order before you confirm it to show you which direction the door opens. It takes any second guessing out of this simple but important feature. I took a chance despite the negative reviews and I'm so glad I did. This is one of the most beautiful doors I have ever seen. More beautiful in person. It looks like it cost over 9k when it was just a fraction of that. They are so reasonable for the quality you get. The staining job was phenomenal, the speakeasy and clavos looks like it came right out of the medieval era. It's just stunning. I know that this door will get compliments from many who walk through it and I'll be happy to tell them where I purchased it. The only thing I would say to do is order it at least 6-8 weeks before you need it. I think a lot of people run out of patience waiting for their door but if you have the time it's definitely worth the wait! You won't be disappointed I assure you of that! Very pleased and satisfied customer.

Needed our doors quickly, used the rush order service and had the doors within a week!
