I purchased pre-hung interior oak doors. Shipping error by vendor, but, they quickly resolved this with their subcontractors and paid the extra cost. I had a contractor waiting and it took several extra days. On the other hand, my contractor, a finish carpenter by training and trade, said the quality of the product was excellent. We had expected them to come 'assembled', but, they came in assembly required version. Bottom line, when the need arises, I will order from this company again. I need additional exterior doors and am very satisfied that their products are outstanding quality.

Decent product for the price, but ordering process and shipping is not the best.

I could write a book on what I went through with this door. Ordered in May 2016 finished up in Jan 2017 after much sending back and forth from Wv, my home to the company . I ordered the knotty alder door with sidelights a total of 24 clear,tempered glass panes. The door is beautiful but 14 of the 24 glass panes had to be replaced due to white,spotty streaks between the glass.Sent pictures to Mike who advised the glass had a seal failure. I had to contact a local glass company to come install the new ones. They broke the wood trim when removing but would not replace because they are not carpenters. Had to get my brother to do this. I am really concerned the rest of the glass panes will go bad as soon as warranty expires. Stressed much? I would recommend Nicks doors as long as it's not with the clear glass. I asked to change from clear to textured glass for obvious reasons but was denied. Mike says they now have a new glass vendor so hopefully this will not happen to another customer. Mike was vey helpful and courteous. So, good luck and God bless.

Product is great. Tracking? Production reports? Customer follow up? Not so hot. They need a communications coordinator.

The doors are nice but too far to long to receive (over 2 months). Once received, 1 door wasn't drilled for the door knob and was missing the jamb kit. Some minor damage/scratches to doors due to crating/shipping.

The door I ordered finally arrived, and is in excellent condition, stained the way I wanted, no cracks nor problems-----but, it took FOREVER to get here-----. I started the ordering process in mid-December, 2016, and, it arrived, today, February 28, 2017, over two months later----. Yes, I know,------the Christmas holidays, and the fire they had at their factory, and the staining of the door, played a role in the SLOW delivery, so I have to be reasonable, but, the process, itself, was daunted with some lack of communication with the various persons I spoke with during this time frame. It WAS frustrating, but, the finished product is excellent------.

The door is beautiful and well made. It was worth it, but their 5 week estimate turned into almost 9 weeks, delaying our exterior remodel. Also, each time I called to check on the order they had a hard time estimating where it was in production.

Timeframe was too long.
