Hired this company because they guaranteed on time service!!!!! They were delayed by over a week. They raised the price 5 times , even on moving day when you are over a barrel!! All possessions arrived broken, shattered and smashed as if a sledge hammer was taken to all our belongings and our furniture!!!!! It was the worst experience ever!!!! After filing a detailed claim with photos, receipts and itemization of all things, we were offered $131. I actually feel better for this company and the people who run it. They will get their payback!!!!!

I am out $1400 having retained no services. It was explained to me on the phone that my deposit “locks me in” to my estimate, and that I could reserve a move-date up to 12 months later. I was assured I could get my deposit back as long as I cancel within 72 hours of my reservation/move date. However, after the sale of our home, our circumstances changed and we no longer needed (or wanted to pay for) a full moving service. Since I never scheduled a reservation, or retained any services whatsoever, I thought this was a no-brainer. Unfortunately, this company—whose deposit agreements are vague at best—is conveniently calling my deposit a full reservation, even though (again) I never scheduled a move date. Not so convenient for me! It’s disappointing, because even if IN THEORY I fully understood the vague language of the agreement, one would hope a reputable company would be understanding of difficult circumstances and not take advantage of current or future customers. They aren’t budging. $1400 means very little to them, but it means a lot to a family of five trying to move cross-country. I do hope they reconsider, reverse course, and choose the decent thing to do.

I would honestly give this company a zero star if that was an option. They are dishonest and I highly recommend staying clear of them unless you want to be charged double when the movers show up. I reached out to them and spoke to Jim about a move in the spring for a move this summer. He told me that if I book now I would get the spring rate not the summer rate so it would be a nice discount. I am all about saving money so I figured why not. I went thru my house with Jim on the phone room by room and he said i would need a full truck. I agreed to the $6,000 contract signed it and paid him $2,000. As my move approached I spoke to him a couple times and seemed like an honest person. My move was to be picked up in PA on 8/8 and delivered on 8/9 in Kentucky. Simple 5 hour trip. I received a phone call from New State Transport who Next Stop contacted to do thr work on 8/6 and they said they were going to pick up on 8/7. The movers arrive on 8/7 and that's where the problem arrives. They instantly tell me they need $7850 instead of the $4000 I agreed to. They said it's more than I stated, which it wasn't because I actually got rid of items because I was worried about everything fitting on the truck. I reached out to Next Stop who sent me a video of the items and I said I know what's there I packed it. He also sent me a link to the kind of truck that was brought. His name was Moe and a complete jerk. I stated that'd not what I agreed to and he said it was my fault. Which it wasn't. They gave me a $800 reduction to make it exactly $3000 more than I agreed to. I tried to reach out to Jim but he would not answer my calls or text messages. I had to pay the money and they knew that and they took advantage of me. I am opening up a claim with FMACE so that maybe I will get some money back and so they get a mark against there DOT license because that was wrong Can you believe the driver had the nerve to ask me for a tip? He charged me $3000 on top of my contract and wanted more money. Smh Terry Jerin Update after responses. I honestly expected such a response from your company. But let me clarify, if you go back and look at the sheet that Jim submitted from my original contract quote you will find that there was a lot of big items I said I had but got rid of prior to the move because I was concerned with everything fitting in thr uhail. So you are incorrect by saying there was more. Just admit it, you scam people and them take advantage of them because there isn't nothing anyone can do at that point. I still can not fathom why my items were picked up in PA and taken to new jersey, unloaded into another truck and then taken to Kentucky. It was only a five hour drive. That made no sense. That's what I paid fit with the extra 3k just admit it. You are by far the most dishonest company I ever had thr unfortunate to work with it. It amazes me with your horrible customer service skills you all are in business. I should have trusted the reviews from online about your company so this whole experience is on me. And it didn't require additional labor so that is incorrect also. I was quoted at 4 individuals each load and unload and three were all sent to load and only two to unload. So once again not what the contact stated.

I had a very bad experience with this company. First, they provided an inaccurate quote and tried to double the price at the last minute. Then, they charged for every moving blanket, even though the contract stated it was included. They also failed to respect the agreed pickup date and showed up three days early, forcing me to pack everything overnight. Lastly, I still don't know when my belongings will be delivered. They originally told me 3–5 days, but now they're saying it could take up to 20. Overall, this was a terrible service. I'm sorry to say I do not recommend this company.

That’s where the nightmare began. 🎥 Last-Minute Video Call & Price Manipulation Just a few days before our scheduled move, the company contacted us via video call and claimed we had misrepresented the quantity of our furniture — which was absolutely false. We had provided a detailed, honest inventory. Despite this, they doubled the price to $7,000 with no explanation other than their vague accusation that we had “far more furniture than stated.” Faced with this sudden demand, we refused to pay $7,000 and reluctantly chose to leave behind several pieces of furniture: two sofas, a dining table, six chairs, and other items. 📆 Disorganized Scheduling & Misinformation - No fixed date was ever provided despite repeated requests. Communication was erratic and unclear. - Three days before the move, they abruptly changed the pickup date to one day earlier, throwing off our plans and forcing last-minute rescheduling. - On moving day, we were slapped with an extra $1,300 fee, even though we had reduced our load substantially. 📦 Delivery Nightmare We asked that delivery take place five days later, but were given no confirmation — just a vague “you’ll get a call.” Based on prior conversations with one of their reps, we were led to believe delivery would take 4–5 days. Instead, on August 1st, our designated move-in day, no truck arrived. We frantically called three separate numbers before finally learning that our belongings were stored in New York, waiting for another truck and wouldn't be delivered for at least another five days. 📉 Poor Communication & No Accountability - Their customer service is nonexistent — they hung up on us multiple times. - They give contradictory information, pass the responsibility to drivers, and dodge accountability at every turn. - We were left without furniture, without a clear timeline, and without trustworthy support after paying thousands of dollars. ❗ Conclusion This company deliberately underestimates quotes to lock you in, then uses false claims and last-minute pressure to extract far more money. Their operations are disorganized, dishonest, and manipulative. Do not trust them. You’ll pay far more than expected and your belongings may arrive long after your scheduled move-in — if you’re lucky.

Definitely do not recommend Next Stop Relocation! Gave me a quote called asked me if they can pickup a day earlier. When they arrived the driver told my wife who was home alone that they couldn't pick up the furniture because the guy mis- quoted the items we had. My wife went through the list of items an we had exactly what was on the list. He told my wife it would cost $3300 to move now versus what they quoted. Definitely do not recommend Next Stop Relocation! Gave me a quote and then the day before our move called and said they didn’t quote us enough space and that it would be an additional $2600 on top of the amount they already quoted us! Now they won’t refund our deposit because it is too close to move day and we had to go rent a uhaul truck to move now. Not good business!
