I have a savings account with Newtek and I recently had to update my beneficiaries. I messaged and Katie responded quickly and professionally and helped me complete the required documentation and sent me verification. She was excellent. On another issue, Newtek would not let me add another banking account to my Newtek account which I thought would have made it convenient to transfer money between institutions. When I send money from checking account to Newtek, Newtek says it will take up to 5 business days to be available in my Newtek account. That seems to me to be extraordinarily long since I have other online savings accounts that can process a deposit and be available in my account within 24 hours.

Newtek Bank is very responsive and quick to answer! I wrote to them on their online portal, and, I believe, by end of day they sent what I needed directly to my personal email. Katie H. is on her game there! She deserves a raise and a promotion!

I've been using Newtek for a bit now and I'm pleased with the good customer service I've received. I'd recommend them for your online banking needs.

Katie was very helpful in adding beneficiaries to my account. I got a good rate on my CD and it was easy to open. I've had other CDs with Newtek and found it easy to chat with them or message them to close the CDs which were then ACH'd into my account without issue. I will buy CDs from them again in the future.

For a purely Online Bank, you’d hope they have top notch customer service… Especially when they don’t have to pay for brick & mortar locations, staff, etc. Even more impressive than their customer service (no outsourcing to a less developed country thank god) is their security measures. I have had 10 bank accounts (online / branch) in the last 3 years and only 1 other has similar high standards for security. I’ve been with them since Oct 2024 and haven’t had any issues. If I screw something up, they solve it in a timely fashion. Highly recommend

Just opened a personal online savings account and very happy so far. Opening and funding the account was quick and easy. I was not able to open as a joint account with my wife, but I contacted customer service and Katie was extremely helpful. We had to sign some online forms and my wife was added as a co-owner without any difficulty.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Yessica when my bank provided a different account number than the one I provided. Yessica went above and beyond in arriving at the correct account number, followed up with Newtech's part, and advised me every step of the way how the process was proceeding. She is not only an asset to her department, she is an asset to the bank as a whole. Nice work Yessica!

The customer service representative that I spoke to over the phone, Mark S., was courteous, professional, spoke clearly, and was patient. He knew what to do.
