Newark Electronics a scam?? And update..
After three attempts to determine why the radio silence (no email notifications, no text, no call) regarding a simple, in-stock item I am concluding that Newark Electronics is likely now a scam. I am repeatedly connected to "customer agents" who continue to state, at different times and separate calls to their "customer service number", different mistakes in my email address preventing the notifications. During each conversation I ask them to repeat all information- which that "agent" does- correctly; another mistake is discovered during another call the next day after still receiving nothing. These episodes are simply too similar in tempo, language and "resolution" to be credible. My credit card company (a Navy credit union) will be notified and I will post updates. -- Paul, Mystic, Ct UPDATE: I did receive my order, it was correct and it did arrive when the third agent said it would arrive. I am upgrading my review to three stars from my original 1-star rating. I do not think I can provide a more positive review simply because I was never notified after three agents recorded the wrong information. I think it reasonable to expect they could have called or sent a text instead of relying upon incorrect email addresses.
