Worst Experience ever! Worst customer service from start to end... They ignored my questions and request. Fed me with a bunch of lies. Told me my order was shipped as soon as I said I wanted to cancel... when only the shipping label had been created... took another 7 days for the material to be picked up... I strongly do not recommend. I would give 0 star if I could !!

I placed an order with a reasonable delivery. i followed up 2 weeks ago and was advised that goods would ship within that week. Following up yesterday i was advised delivery is now November'2022. There was no communication to indicate that my order would be late. the agent i chatted advised he would get back to me within 24hours, he did not. I had to check again. i deal with other Avnet companies daily and for Newark to be associated with the Avnet group leave a bad taste in the mouth. PO 434765. Your reply is appreciated, but why are responding on this platform, when you have Customer and sales support in place? i have never come across a company that quotes the at it will take 24 to 48 hours to reply or never replies.

It does appear that the supplier has pushed out the date for delivery. Products like the one you ordered have a global shortage and we are working with manufacturers as much as we can to lessen the impact. We wish that we could have the parts sooner. Newark

They simply don’t respond to customer emails, and change the total price without approval. The first customer service agent also hung up on me (but maybe it was a disconnect…). They charged my card 3 separate times. Only once I said I would chargeback did they begin to offer a cancellation.

I payed for a $6.24 item and they charged me about $12 shipping. Fine. BUT I JUST CHECKED THE SITE AND IT SAYS THAT MY ORDER TOTAL IS $267.37 I DON'T EVEN HAVE THAT MUCH IN MY BANK ACCOUNT

My company has had an account with Newark since 2008. During this time, I have tried on numerous occasions to have them attach my sales certificate to my account so that I am not charged sales tax. Our orders are for resale when we repair. When you call "customer service" (and I use that term very loosely), you reach an offshore call center. They are utterly useless and unhelpful. They will not put you through to a supervisor when you request one. There is no way to reach anyone competent. 10/28/21 UPDATE: My last invoice number was 34356509. I need someone to upload the sales tax certificate so that I AM NO LONGER CHARGED SALES TAX WHEN I ORDER ONLINE. Can someone do that?

My last order was placed 10/19 but as of 10/23 the package has not been shipped. When I called customer support on 10/22, I was told that there were defective units in inventory for one of the line items, and that the package would ship later that day. When I noticed that the order did not ship as of 5:00pm ET, I called again and this time I was essentially told that they wouldn't know when it would really ship. (I was also told that I would not be able to cancel the order) Having worked in technical sales, I understand there are delays beyond reasonable control, but my dissatisfaction comes from the lack of communication and failure to offer a concrete resolution especially when the customer application is time-critical. In the future it is recommended that any delays be automatically communicated via email, and if possible, along with a resolution or updated delivery date. Newark used to be a trustworthy vendor for my aerospace projects. Unfortunately my latest negative experience seems to be reflected in others' recent reports.

We placed an order with Newark and requested a material cert at the time we placed the order. We did not receive the cert, which per the instruction on the order needs to contain a mercury free statement. We have an email from Prashanth Kumar stating they would send the cert on 9/20/2021, we have yet to receive the cert. When we called customer service regarding the order they said we never placed it. We have the parts here and cannot use them without the cert, and cannot return them because Newark says we never ordered them. We have emailed and called and are getting no where with this company. Buyer beware!

Bad Service - No idea if I'm getting my order or not. Placed an order, received an email from Newark saying they needed some additional credit card info. I provided it to them and received an email: "VISA DECLINED this order – DO NOT HONOR. Thanks Credit card Team" I've never had credit card issues before anywhere else and obviously this was not helpful so I called their customer service line. Person seemed annoyed to be talking to me but assured me there was nothing wrong with the order and that the order was released. I sent a reply back to the email stating this and received: "Visa declined this transaction, and our team will never say otherwise, we see same program. Sorry." So obviously not helpful again. Why is customer service not helping to resolve my issue and / or able to tell me what the status is? Stay away and just look for parts elsewhere.
