I contracted for and paid over $3100 for wire from this company their site says shipping is free the invoice they sent for payment said shipping is free. After paying the entire amount on the invoice they contacted me a couple of days later and told me shipping is $650 so the free shipping added over 20% to the original price of the invoice and they asked what I wanted to do

I made a mistake on my order and had already paid for the order before I realized it. I called and within 15 minuets it was corrected. Very easy

The cable I ordered showed up quickly and was exactly what I ordered. For a good price.

"Unacceptable post-purchase price hike" I placed an order for a portable electric heater and completed the transaction. The following day, Nassau Cable emailed me informing me an additional $50 was needed from me, claiming their website pricing was outdated and the price had increased. When I refused this unfair charge and informed them they need to honor the original purchase price, they did not respond. I have been forced to open a dispute through PayPal to get my money back. Be careful buying from this company—they do not honor completed transactions."

Excellent quality cable and fast shipping. I was nervous that the cable wouldn't ship in time for my project, as I ordered a strand of cable that had a minimum requirement that I didn't meet, and suspected the order would be bounced back to me. However, it was cut as requested. I loved the color options (not available in my town) and the prices were the same or better than big-box stores, only more options to select from for gauge sizes. Also liked the fact there's a forum for people to talk about wire/electrical stuff and ask questions, as well as articles posted by Nassau staff that I thought were interesting. This place knows and loves conductors and I'd encourage anyone with a project to consider ordering.

There were pros and cons. The good news was that the price was great and very competitive. The order shipped fast and was wrapped and very well protected from shipping mishaps. The bad news was a lack of communication after my product was shipped. I was told when I placed my order that I would get an email notification when my items were shipped with tracking information attached. This was important since I had made arrangements with the business where it was being shipped and told them I would let them know the day it was to arrive. I received absolutely no notifications at all. There were two items ordered and one showed up at the business one day unexpectedly and three days later the other half showed up. I did not receive any tracking information, didn't even know my order was shipped. When half of my order arrived I called NNC to inquire about the other half and was transferred to three different people and was finally told that the shipping department would send an email concerning the second half of my order. I received it but have never heard a word from NNC at all. Poor communication.

Great pricing , great turnaround time for just a basic delivery service. You’re one stop shop for all electrical and communication projects.
