FUNDS NOT FDIC INSURED under EFTA ACT
My card was stolen and the perpetrator used it to to steal $578 via 50 charged transactions. I reported it to Wisely and was told the funds would be reimbursed until the investigation concluded, and when it found that I didn't make nor authorize the purchases the money wouldn't have to be refunded to Wisely. They claimed I only had 10 days from the date I reported it stolen to return a signed document 'formerly' starting the investigation, while also telling me the investigation would start ASAP without it. They then claimed there was an alternative to start the investigation, but that they would only reveal how if they hadn't received the signed doc by the 9th day. I never received the paper and contacted them back. They provided an email address to send the investigation request, but the email was blocked and didn't send until the next day. Instead of contacting each merchant to obtain the video footage of the perpetrator who stole the card, they closed the investigation within 3 days claiming no fraud had occurred. Seven of the purchases were at a QT gas station were they made even number charges of $10, $15, and $20, which in themselves draws a red flag, in addition to the fact I used the charging method to make purchases less than 1% of the time used over a 7+ year period. Each transaction is a felony in Georgia, and Wisely helped conceal the crimes in order to avoid refunding me the $578 that was stolen.

I reported my card lost and requested a new replacement. Approximately ten minutes after the card was lost, it was picked up by someone and immediately charged my card for $32 a convenience store down the street. It was unauthorized. This is why I opened an investigation. I then had to wait 10 days for a resolution, and that I could request a credit on my account at that time. I was informed that the case was closed and that the charge was authorized. My card was stolen and charged, and yet I have to accept that. MyWisely accepted these circumstances. So they are not looking out for the best interest of their customers. I will no longer do business with uncaring people.

My wisely card is horrible
My wisely card is horrible! I had 2 fraudulent charges come out of my account. Someone western unioned themselves 550 dollars and 200 and I have no idea where or how! I immediately called my wisely who I had been with for 10 years and he said they couldn't reverse the charges until the investigation was done! I had to Google my rights, and they had 10 days to give me a provisional credit. I called and told them my rights and they said I had to fill out paperwork first that would be mailed to me by July 8th and I had to have it back by July 8th! I received it July 1st and the fraud happened on June 24th! I was able to email a signed copy and then i had to call and beg for my money back ! I got the 550 but they said the 200 was never taken out! I have proof with screenshot on the my wisely app! Don't use my wisely! They are horrible! And heartless!

I do not recommend anyone getting wisely. You have to go through a act of congress if you need to dispute a transaction. And I still didn't get my money back. They are.bad.

Do Not Trust Wisely by ADP—They Do Not Honor Legal POAs in Life-or-Death Situations
I am writing this to warn absolutely everyone: Do not keep your money on a Wisely pay card. If your employer uses Wisely through ADP, move your funds to a real bank account immediately. They do not care about the law, and they do not care about human life.
My brother is currently incapacitated and in a coma in the hospital. Because of this dire situation, we legally executed a Power of Attorney (POA) with a notary at the hospital so I could manage his affairs. I am his sister, working alongside our mother to make sure his medical bills are paid.
For over two months I have been working on this, and for the last month, I have been calling Wisely every 2 to 3 business days exactly like they told me to. I submitted every single piece of documentation they asked for:
The legally notarized Power of Attorney (POA)
My government-issued Driver’s License
My Social Security card
My utility/electric bill to prove my address
They verified exactly who I am. Yet, every single time I call, the Wisely representatives rigidly repeat a script asking to speak to my brother or demanding his physical ID and Social Security card. I have told them repeatedly: He is in a coma in a hospital bed. He does not physically have his wallet on him. They completely lack the basic comprehension or empathy to understand what "incapacitated" means.
The absolute craziest part of this situation? Wisely actually sent me his physical pay card. They allowed me to create a personal PIN for the card. But now, they are telling me I am blocked from online access to do a direct transfer to pay his medical providers.
Because Wisely refuses to honor a legally binding POA, I am now forced to go to a physical ATM every single day to withdraw daily limits just to secure his money—which is over $10,000.
After weeks of compliance, their final answer was that "someone will call me back to see what they can do." Wisely by ADP does not honor the legal system. They trap your money when you need it most. Avoid them at all costs.
