I'm going to be bruetely honest and perhaps gross but you need to know. I've never really cared about what kind of tampon I used and for the most part always use the generic version of Tampax. I don't have a heavy period either and have not bled through tampons. I ordered Mylola and got a mix of heavy and medium. I got my period went with the heavy just in case. First off I was annoyed with the applicator. It fell apart so I had to shove it up myself much like the O.B. brand.....Gross. In 2 hours I bled right through. Tried the tampon again and was super careful with the applicator and pinched my vagina. I haven't had so many period accidents since Jr. High. I've given them 2 cycles and have not been impressed, I gave the rest of my unused tampons to a coworker that is all about organic stuff, the next day she said "what the f#@& did you give me? They suck" . These are over priced and don't work well at all. By the way they make it a pain in the butt to cancel too. Don't waste your money.

Conflicted
I love the idea 100% and the only reason I'm posting is to voice my opinion in hope to fix the problem. The problem is the applicator. While it is plastic and normally great for insertion, the opening is not engineered correctly, causing it to pinch and prod. I love the purpose and passion this company has but the applicator makes it extremely difficult to fulfill its use. Please please fix!

Best Decision
I was using another organic brand of tampons but I have switched to LOLA because I can design the box I need. I love the fact that it is organic and chemical free. I have also contacted the company with feedback and the customer service was excellent.

Every woman should have LOLA
It astounds me that we as human beings demand the right to be assured of the quality and safety of what we put inside our mouths, but for some reason, we as women are denied the right to be assured of the quality and safety of what we put inside our vaginas. I cannot imagine anyone taking a suppository that had not been FDA approved, yet men and women alike do not think twice about the chemicals that are undoubtedly being absorbed by the vagina every time a woman has to use a tampon. Month after month, for decades of our lives, we are exposing ourselves to all kinds of risks, some known and tragically, others that have yet to be discovered.
THIS IS WHERE LOLA COMES IN AND SAVES THE DAY. I have used all natural tampons off and on throughout the last 15 years, but one thing I absolutely despised was the cardboard applicator. While I always aim to be as eco friendly as possible - and cardboard is much better than plastic in that respect - when it comes to your period, being able to rely on your tampons is CRUCIAL. There have been far too many times that my cardboard applicator got stuck and failed to dispense the tampon properly. Thus leaving me in a very tricky, awkward position.
Thanks to LOLA I can be at peace knowing that I am treating my body with care and putting my health first by only using a 100% organic, non-bleached cotton tampon, while at the same time enjoying the convenience and reliability of a plastic applicator - a combination I have only found through LOLA.
And speaking of convenience, what's not to love about their customized box and adjustable subscription service?! I will be spreading the good news to all my female friends and family and hopefully everyone will soon catch on! To call LOLA a "life changer" is by no means an exaggeration. Women's health need to be brought to the forefront of public awareness and concern and LOLA is definitely playing a significant part in that effort - one tampon at a time. :-)
THANK YOU!

Excellent Product & Customer Service
I've become a loyal customer to Lola but appreciate the option (and reminder!) to cancel (or order extra) if needed on a particular month. Customer service is extremely responsive and considerate. These tampons haven't let me down! Keep doing what you're doing.

Not your mothers aunt
Lola tampons are the best I have ever used. They are convenient and discreetly shipped to your door. No worries about making that crampy-walk-of-shame to the back of the local store, leaving with one item; sheepishly tamponesque. Tampons with names that are intelligence insulting like glitter-sapphire-chromed --it is not glittery it is my vagina. It is a literal rag. Lola reminds me of Aunt Flo...Lola is in town and she is here on time and never an inconvenience. Now your monthly slough to the local store can be for more important things: chocolate. It's necissary for me to feel adult about my tampons. I can order as many sizes as I like per box and they're not neon glo like an 90's teenagers Lisa frank trapper keeper. They come in short style so you can lock and load without everyone knowing you have a tampon up your sleeve. The box comes like a run of the mill candle of the month selection and if your lighter you can ship every other month. Hail Lola. She's my new aunt.

If it's no good it's no good
I like the rest of the women who've left a review revolving the product itself am disappointed. I had gotten my period four days ago and was excited to come home to find my package of Lola had arrived. Almost as if it was in sync with me. I had no problems the first day but then on the second day I noticed I felt as though I was leaking when a.) I had just plugged it in and b.) Took it out to see a mostly blank swab of cotton. The string is always stained red in minutes and without it fully absorbing I was leaking. It sucked because I was out and about. I thought it be a reliable product since it is made by women but it just isn't. I want to feel protected and I just didn't. Constantly worrying about wearing black pants because I'm prone to leaking which I wasn't before. The applicator always pinches my skin as I try to insert and there's always cotton fibers at the end of it which is freaking me out. I rather use a product that is unnatural than unknowingly starting a cotton debris collection inside of me, which can just as easily cause toxic shock. I'm surprised that with all the negative feedback the company is still selling instead of taking a pause to work on the merchandise because it just isn't good.
