Very disappointing and misleading subscription experience. I signed up expecting the advertised price, but the app later charged an unexpected renewal fee that was around three times higher, without clear and sufficient notice. The automatic renewal terms and additional payments were not made transparent enough. I contacted PayPal about the charge, but my dispute was rejected even though there appear to be many similar complaints from other users. Be extremely careful before subscribing, Its set up for Automatic renewal but is not clear, check the renewal terms closely, and monitor your payment method for unexpected charges. My advice give this lot a massive wide berth and try another app.

I was routed to MyDiabetes from another site where I had hoped to learn more about Type 1 diabetes. I thought the 3-month diet plan might be useful, not only to my relative, but also perhaps to myself, not diabetic. After subscribing, I was unable to access any features or diet plan unless I also ordered a nutritional supplement. Within minutes, I requested a refund. MyDiabetes refused, "in line with [their] policy." DO NOT PAY ANYTHING OR AGREE TO ANYTHING AT THIS SITE!!!

There's probably nothing wrong with the app. However, I wish the website had told me it was strictly a phone app BEFORE I subscribed and paid. Customer service was very quick to resolve my problem -- so 5 stars to customer service.
