Great software as a service product as a simple solution for attorneys.

MyCase is great for a solo practitioner like myself. My assistant and my associate work remotely much of the time and it is easy to delegate tasks and manage everyone's projects. It is also very easy to learn and my staff has picked up on it quickly. It is accessible anywhere and lets me stay organized regardless of where I and my employees are. I would recommend it to anyone looking for file management software to manage a growing practice. I wish there was a little more control over client and billing reports, but they can be exported to csv files which lets me manipulate the information easily with a spreadsheet program.

My concern about MyCase is that the government is reading all the documents I put online or on the cloud - so to speak. I will not put anything, particularly health related, on the internet not will I put any kind of documents related to children. That being said, everything I do put on is organized, is easy to get to and is always available. While I still have paper files having my law office available where ever I am is very nearly like having your cake and eating it too! This program is a charm. The cost is great & whenever we have had any kind of issues about anything related to the program the folks at MyCase take care of the problem or issue immediately. MyCase and the folks that make it up have my complete confidence.

I decided to go back into private practice as a solo practitioner almost a year ago. While it has been difficult getting re-established, My Case has been a great choice. I researched carefully before picking it, and I have not been disappointed. It meets my needs, and I haven't even tapped into all the features that it offers. I especially have enjoyed the ability to use it from anywhere, anytime with just my smartphone.

For the most part, I find MyCase very useful both in keeping track of all aspects of my cases and in keeping us in touch with our clients. Our clients like the ability to send messages to the staff, see their payments, review documents, etc. Some clients complain that it is too cumbersome to log into a website and would rather email directly. Often once they see the usefulness these complaints usually go away. I do have a problem with one aspect of Mycase, the email integration. This is quite cumbersome. The idea is great, but in reality, it does not work well. I also wish we had the ability to edit the invoice forms or create our own.

MyCase has everything I need right now as a solo attorney. I primarily do transactional work and occasional court appearances. I think there are various features that could be implemented to enable more lawyers to adapt the software in their own practices.

I am a solo prac with a paralegal in a different city. MyCase works great for our case management. I would like to see the app for ipad developed further. It does not allow me to view time entries on each case unless an invoice has been created.

Not only has this product made my life easier, with more time to spend on billable hours, but when I don't know how to make something work, the support team is amazing!
