We have been selling on Amazon for about five years as a registered brand and been with MAG for about the past 18 months. They are a tremendous resource for our brand and those of us to manage that brand. I don’t want to say they make it easy, because nothing about Amazon is easy, but we definitely sleep better knowing we have every tool and resource available to help us navigate all the never ending “Amazon-isms” that create endless challenges!

I had 2 separate experiences with myamazonguy. One for a Coaching call with one of their consultants. This one went well. A rating between 4 and 5 stars would be fair for this service. The second experience however was about a trandemark registration and this is where 1 star is too much and I'll try to explain why. On their site it was stated that the service of "$825 total pricing: Includes USPTO filing fee, TM research, and any follow up communication" The TM research part was conducted extremely poor by their team. Again, on their site it was stated "We search and compile: we'll conduct a search to make sure your trademark isn't too similar to existing trademarks already in use". Well, they failed big time on this part. After one year from the momemnt of the application was submitted, I got a mail saying that there is a similar trademark (one dash character difference). Myamazonguy asked for $400 for the attorney to answer to that specific issue. I started to do my homework thoroughly and found out that this attempt didn't have more than 10% chances to be accepted/succesfully. That's why I told them that I won't pay because the issue was caused by a fault of their own that they advertise as part of the service fee and most importantly "any followup communication" was again part of the service. Then, the second part is more disturbing. They kind of knew (I'm pretty sure about it) that we stand no chance of getting this through, but they still tried to get money out of it. This sounds as they follow numbers, profit without being accountable for what they advertise they offer. I'm still following them. I'm sure they have some experience in what they do, but be careful how they treat you. It's not a friendly provider. They will rip you off if you give them the chance. At first I wanted to give them 1 star because of the bad experience I had with them about the trandemark registration, but they are somewhere around 3 stars on avergae if you leave your emotions out.

We started our Amazon store almost 8 years ago and MAG is our third (and perhaps last) management firm. The first firm did nothing. The second raised our sales by about 30%, so when we decided to work with MAG in December 2022, we had low expectations- just don’t lose money! They promised 30% growth. They delivered 850% growth in the 4th month. You read that right- 850%…daily increase in sales. Admittedly, we were wary with the name- My Amazon Guy- but we took the call to learn more and we were impressed by the initial presentation and audit they performed on our products as part of their sales pitch. If you are thinking, as we did, "My Amazon Guy??"- get over it. They are very deep on talent and will assign many, many people to do very specific work on your catalog, product page, A+ content and the rest. It’s not just a couple of people doing all of this foundational work. Second, you have to respond promptly and insightfully when they send you text and images for approval. The more feedback you provide, the better the assets they create. Third, you have to be patient. They need the first three months to get up to speed on your store. Then wait and see what they build by month four! I have found my two-person brand management team of Daniel and Kristen to be very invested, very competent and very responsive, as is the owner Steve Pope. Every email answered promptly no matter if it’s Saturday at 8:00 a.m. or late at night. That’s a BIG plus as weekends are often the best selling days and if there’s an issue on Saturday morning, you want it solved before Monday- when other management firms finally look at your emails. I do feel they want our success as much as we do and they prove it with long hours, hard work and well, the results speak for themselves. I can state with full transparency that I have no regrets, no reservations and no plans to ever terminate our relationship with MAG. Perhaps they’ll consider changing the name to “My Amazon Person?!" 12/24 Update: I only write a few reviews each year and some have been bad. I tell it like it is. I've been offered compensation to take down the bad reviews- but I don't. My reviews are honest and truthful, based on my own personal experience. It's been two years of working with MAG. They are a first class agency and my brand manager, Daniel, is a gift. Professional and invested in the success of my business, he is the best of the best. At the end of my second year with MAG, business grew 40% from 2023. Yes, the great numbers speak for themselves and I can also add that this is a great agency with great people who will work overtime to grow your Amazon store. Highly recommend.

Great communication, high valuable content and just in time information.

Terrible service. I contracted them to help me with brand registry. They provided terrible advice, firstly completely missing an already registered brand that could stop mine going ahead, then advising I file again using my logo, which was also rejected. The process took more than a year, and I needed to file a third time with no guarantee I’d get registration. Don’t waste your money. Seems like a reasonable fee upfront but you will spend way more money and time due to the poor advice provided. And yes, they offered to refile my application, which would make this the third application, with no guarantee that this will go through. My expectation in paying for this service was that a check would be made upfront to avoid this whole issue but that advice was sadly never given. I also responded to that email at the same time as writing this review, asking for more information, and still have not received a response.

I like Myamazonguy a lot. They give soo much content for free and you can learn about everything Amazon on their YouTube channel. Also they explain things so that you can understand the background of what you are doing so you can decide if it makes sense for your shop.
