I called their number to enquire about a service. They asked for my email address and told me someone would contact me. I never received an email so called back to enquire about what was happening. Sadly there was only an answerphone, even though it was during office hours, so I left a message asking them again to get in touch with me. Still nothing to date. I thought seller support was bad but this company seems to be no better. I checked my spam folder before leaving this review but as expected nothing.
This guys company is more like a circus a complete joke run by substandard staff who can't be bothered to return multiple messages. This guy is desperate for business I guess as his Amazon business is doing so badly he needs the money. Save yourself the bad experience and ask someone else for help as you will be lucky to get a good service.

We take inquiries and follow-ups seriously. If you contacted our team multiple times and did not receive a response, we want to investigate exactly what happened.
Please provide the date and approximate time of your calls, along with the phone number or email address you used when making the inquiry. This will allow our team to locate the interaction, identify where the follow-up broke down, and take the appropriate action.
We understand how frustrating it can be to reach out for help and not hear back. If you share those details with us, we’ll personally look into what happened, make sure your feedback reaches the right team, and provide answers to any questions you still have about our services.

Hello Viewers,
Hello Viewers,
I have started a candle business on Amazon. I hired MAG. I paid them about 7K some for onboarding and 2.5K thereafter, three month minimum. I sent them termination notice 4/28/2026. Month to month contract end date was 5/30/26. So, they sent me an email early termination, and they pro-rated it at $ 1250, because I sent them notice 4/28 instead of 4/30. I just finished paying that.
This is the issue:
Please be careful not to give them administrative user permissions they quite persistent during on boarding process. I never gave them administrative user permission. Off boarding will become difficult for you, they don't need so many administrative user permissions they are asking for. Like substantial amount marketing companies, according to me they are looking out for themselves.
All this money they could not sell 30 candles for me. they took more than 15 K.PPC is sub optimal.
According to my experience with them not a good choice at all. Don't say no one told you!
I sent them an email I was going to put up a review so here it is!!!

We understand your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to work with your brand during its launch phase on Amazon. Your products entered the marketplace without Brand Registry, reviews, or key account access permissions such as Brand Analytics and SQP, which limited our ability to fully implement optimization strategies including A+ Content, Brand Story modules, and advanced PPC scaling despite repeated requests for access over several months. Throughout the engagement, the account remained in an “At Risk” status due to ongoing access limitations and the challenges of launching a premium-priced niche product in a highly competitive marketplace, and once your trademark became eligible for Brand Registry, we immediately reached out with next-step recommendations while also advising that a stronger DTC focus may better align with your current business goals. Regarding the early termination fee, your agreement included a notice period requirement, and after receiving notice on 4/28 for a 5/30 end date, we prorated the fee to $1,250.

worst experience in the hiring process.
worst experience in the hiring process.
I applied for a customer success role at this company. Gone through the hiring procedures and passed all the required skill tests and interviews.
Got the offer and accepted it. After "2 months" of waiting, because they said that the position that I have applied for is on hold, without any updates whatsoever.
It's me who contacted them to get an update. This was back in November of 2024. I am posting it here for awareness.
The owner, as well, seems to be narcissistic, especially in the past videos that they uploaded. go see it for yourself.
Response from My Amazon GuyApr 13, 2026
Hi Ervin, thank you for sharing your feedback! We understand how frustrating that experience must have been.
While an offer was extended and initial requirements were completed, onboarding timelines can sometimes shift due to changing business needs and limited availability of training slots. Our team remained in communication and expressed continued interest, but we acknowledge that the lack of a confirmed start date can be disappointing.
By the time a potential opportunity opened, we understand you had already decided to move forward elsewhere. We appreciate the time and effort you invested in the process and wish you the best moving forward.

Terrible service
I hired this agency expecting comprehensive management, but my experience was disappointing. They made errors in my product listings, misapplied coupons and discounts, and PPC management was minimal and basic. Instead of improving performance, they increased my advertising costs (ACOS) while my sales declined. The limited, basic work didn’t match the fees, and overall, they negatively impacted my brand. This was my experience, so I’d advise caution before trusting them with your Amazon business.
Response from My Amazon GuyMar 26, 2026
We’re sorry to hear this was your experience. But it doesn’t reflect the full picture. Your account has shown positive trends (improved TACoS and overall sales growth), and all pricing, strategy changes, and discounts were discussed and approved in meetings; however, frequent reversals before strategies had time to perform made consistent progress difficult.

It's spam. Lots of it.
It's spam. It's just junk mail. Never asked for it. Don't want it. Please go away. And he flagged this when it’s completely true. I was spammed and harassed, wrote an honest review, and now he’s trying to silence me!

Lost my Amazon account $200,000 in sales
Run from using this company. They are all talk. We managed our Amazon account internally, but decided to us My Amazon Guy's in March 2025. By March 2026 they lost us $200,000 in sales compared to the same time period the previous year. They use marketing teams that our located outside of the US that don't have command of the English language. This caused the messaging on our images to be incoherent because of improper grammar. They also used keywords that had nothing to do with our products, which greatly increased our ad spend and our ACOS. Their answer was to assign me a new team, which they did three times during the year we used them. Each team did worse than the previous team and our sales kept going down while our ad spend kept going up. Their answer, when I told them I was leaving, was to give me a fourth team. They use a one-size-fits-all system for all their customers and they collect their monthly fee all while using very cheap labor in the Philippines. They say all the right things during the sales call, but when it comes to the actual work on your account it is all superficial. They even used a competitors marketing pictures as one of our products images. Save yourself a ton of money and don't use this company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
Throughout our partnership, our team worked to improve listings, advertising performance, and overall account management. When concerns were raised, our leadership team made several adjustments including reassigning team members and refining strategies in an effort to better support your brand. While those changes were intended to improve results, we understand from your review that they did not resolve the issues you experienced.
We take concerns around creative accuracy, messaging quality, keyword targeting, and communication seriously. Feedback like yours helps us review and strengthen our internal quality-control and review processes.
Amazon performance can also be influenced by many factors beyond agency management including inventory levels, pricing, competition, and seasonality. But we always aim to provide clear strategy and execution to support our clients’ growth.
We appreciate the opportunity we had to work with your brand and wish you continued success moving forward.

Worst professional experience with an Agency
Working with My Amazon Guy has been the worst professional experience with an Agency in our entrepreneurial career.
Over the course of five months, this agency did absolutely nothing they promised. Not a single step was taken toward international expansion — no emails, no follow-ups, no concrete actions. Nothing.
Sales performance? Mediocre at best. Their only real achievement was burning through our ad budget while delivering pitiful results. Even the most basic tasks — like completing product listings or uploading the products they created to our official store — were left unfinished. We had to follow up on everything, fix daily mistakes, and basically manage the work we were paying them to do.
The so-called “brand directors” are a joke. They are completely absent — silent during meetings, inattentive, unresponsive, and seemingly unaware of anything going on. No leadership. No guidance. No accountability.
This agency is a scam — all flash, no substance. They hide behind slick videos and empty promises, while delegating everything to underpaid workers in the Philippines. That alone isn’t the problem — the real issue is that there’s zero structure, zero oversight, and zero accountability from those at the top.
We feel robbed. This was a complete abuse of trust, time, and money — an outrageous exploitation of small businesses looking for real support and growth.
I’m speaking out so others don’t fall into the same trap. I will actively connect with other business owners who’ve had similar experiences. This isn’t just bad service — it’s a deliberate and organized rip-off.
MOST IMPORTANT PART (WE HAVE EVERYTHING DOCUMENTED): When things started to fall apart, they didn’t own up to it. Instead, they shut down all accounts, sent a vague 24hrs (24 hrs!) notice “Closing of operations”, of course charged our credit cards before leaving for services not performed, disconnected from our Amazon accounts, and left ALL ad campaigns THEY set up running, unattended resulting in wasting more of our money inefficiently. They also shut down without notice all Slack and platform channels, removing every graphic asset we had paid for — leaving us with nothing to continue working with. These were our assets, created with our money, and yet they were taken away without warning or justification.
After paying them thousands and investing months of our time… still, they literally vanished through the back door fast and abruptly, the way scammers do.
JUST ASK YOURSELF 1 SINGLE QUESTION BEFORE EVEN THINKING OF HIRING THEM: Who does that to a paying client? Even if things get hard...you don't.
We have all supporting evidence printed in a document for further escalation: the notice from the (joke of a) Director with 24-hour notice (after working for MONTHS), the unilateral closing of all platforms, leaving all their own campaigns running, etc.
Isn’t this something scammers do? Vanish and close everything fast?
What reputable agency closes a project by escaping through the back door instead of walking out the front door with integrity and giving proper notice and a structured, professional off boarding process?
As a small business and a customer, you must think about this — you must be covered when things go wrong, not “when everything looks like sunshine and roses” and is promised to be “exponentially perfect,” like they do at the beginning.
Just think twice before hiring My Amazon Guy.
We have extensive documented evidence and will gladly share it with any business owner who wants to know the truth about these serial scammers.
Ps: Look their 5* reviews, most of them look from fake clients or their collaborators abroad.
Finally we found a much better agency that actually delivers, with real people behind the work, people accountable and responsible for their job, and not delegating everything to a remote team in Asia and AI. You really have to question yourself why these guys have to advertise so much and make themselves to look like one of those "As seen on TV" "Buy 1 get 10X" type of services?...Click and bait is the answer. Don't trust them, do you research and read carefully the one star reviews, not the five stars they managed themselves.
Response from My Amazon GuyFeb 24, 2026
We take allegations of misconduct, fraud, defective service, or unauthorized billing extremely seriously. We categorically deny the claims made in this review.
All work was documented through internal project management systems, advertising dashboards, meeting notes, and time-stamped communications. Biweekly meetings were conducted to review progress and deliverables.
The final asset package — including A+ content, image assets, and associated deliverables — was transmitted electronically to the client. Confirmation of delivery is documented. No objection or formal notice of breach was issued prior to the chargeback filing.
The allegation that services were “not as described” is unsupported by the written agreement, documented deliverables, performance reporting, and communication history. The dispute appears to be rooted in dissatisfaction with performance expectations, which the contract explicitly states is not grounds for refund or reversal of properly authorized charges.
We stand by the integrity of our operations, documentation, and contractual compliance. Public allegations do not override binding agreements or documented performance history.
We will continue to address this matter through the appropriate formal dispute resolution channels.
