I was experiencing terrible menopausal symptoms, and they didn’t immediately abate when I restarted my HRT. In the past I had taken a different HRT and I discontinued it, and I didn’t think I needed it anymore. Then the sleeplessness started, followed by everything else (night sweats, irritability that was terrible, fatigue, brain fog etc) I didn’t get immediate results when I started the HRT from Alloy and I thought it was because it was bio identical HRT, and I messaged the doctor in a not so sweet fashion because I was extremely irritable (as mentioned) and I thought I received an inferior product. So my review might have been five stars but the communication was not great .. first I received an email that a “shipping label was created” and that lasted for FIVE days .. No one explained it was because it was waiting for the pharmacy to fill it. Then the communication with the doctor went awry maybe because I was impatient, but the doctor should have known my results wouldn’t be immediate. She should have been able to say it will take a week or so for your hormones to even out and your body adjust. Instead she said “ok, we will discontinue you” .. Not good bedside manner for a crazy menopausal woman. So five stars for the meds themselves, but not great at communication with me.

Life has been crazy for me and I have been struggling and slacking in my skincare routine. Even with my inconsistent use, my face feels softer and my skin looks smoother. One of my friends even commented on my skin's smoothness and I wasn't wearing makeup. I want to note that I also use a retinol, vitamin C serum and I wear sunscreen daily. I am looking forward to even better results once I get back into a better routine.

Thankfully a friend suggested I try hormone replacement therapy and that led me to Alloy. It was easy to fill out, meds were sent quickly, Dr Frazier provided detailed support and has been quick to answer questions. I’ve been on the therapy two weeks and it feels like a light switch was turned on. All my issues are now at manageable levels. I would totally recommend. Only drawback is that they don’t take insurance. But it was worth it.
