Mr appliance came to repair my kitchenaid dishwasher and said I would be better off buying a new one. Charged me $99 and because it is difficult to get the dishwasher I want I asked that he repair mine. Said Ok but had no idea when or if the necessary part would arrive. Goodbye $99. Thanks Mr Appliance.

BEWARE!!
BEWARE!!! Do NOT use this company!! My dryer needed a heating element that costs $40. The technician was at my house less than 30 minutes and they charged me $421.86. I could have bought a new dryer for that price!!! Furthermore, the technician was an hour late, left a mess on the floor, and he left the dryer away from the wall. I had to get someone to push it back to the wall. This is the worse service I have ever had in my life!

Mr. Appliance is a big joke!
I scheduled with Mr. Appliance to get my washer fixed. They gave me a 2 hour window for an arrival time and said they'd phone if they ran late. No one ever showed up and no one ever phoned. I called customer service (who scheduled the appointment) and was put on hold TWICE, then he said he'd call me back. 30 minutes later, he finally called. I asked to cancel the appointment due to their negligence. He hung up on me without another word. What a rude, incompetent company! After reading the many, many, MANY horrendous reviews, I think I'm very lucky I didn't have to deal any further with Mr. Appliance!

My Whirlpool Washer

On December 8, 2021, my Whirlpool Washer, model WTW4800BQ1, stopped draining. I telephoned David's Appliance Repair because of their positive yelp reviews and "call out fee;" "We have a $60 service call fee to come out, diagnose the problem, and give an estimate. If there are any repairs done, we waive the fee so that you just pay for parts and labor. Bill Y., Business Owner. 1 year ago." Brian answered the phone as Mr. Appliance and said that David's Appliance Repair had "merged" with Mr. Appliance. I found out later that the license for David's Appliance Repair expired on April 30, 2021 and it was sold to Mr. Appliance, a franchise independently owned and operated by Brian and his wife, even though it is still active on yelp. In fact, Bill Yount, the owner of David Appliance Service, in a January 28, 2021 reply to a review on yelp, stated, "The prices are going to be different because that was one of the reasons we had to sell."
Cody came to my house and diagnosed the problem as a defective drain pump. He quoted me $411.00 to repair, and when I asked for a breakdown on parts and labor he was unable to provide it; he stated he only had the total price. I declined the repair and was charged a "diagnostic fee" of $119.00; eight months ago, on Ask the Community here, Brian, the owner, stated, "We have a $99 travel and diagnostic fee for our technician to come out, inspect your appliance, and determine the problem. If you decide to go through with the repair, the $99 fee will be waived and go towards the price of your repair."
I contacted Brian later that day and advised him that Cody was unable to provide a breakdown on parts and labor, and when I asked Brian for a breakdown on parts and labor he also was unable to provide it but insisted that $411.00 was fair and equitable. I told Brian that I was able to locate the Whirlpool OEM drain pump, WPW10661045, brand new, for $42.50 plus $3.29 tax, total of $45.29, with free shipping, and there is a 3 minute and 23 second video on the Whirlpool website, whirlpoolparts.com, showing how to remove and replace it. Brian continued to insist that $411.00 was fair and equitable, even though I only paid Lowe's $334.53 for the washer when I bought it new on September 15, 2014.
On December 10, 2021, Brian updated his Ask the Community: "Q:Does your company offer free estimates? A:We have a travel and diagnostic fee for our technician to come out, inspect your appliance, and determine the problem. If you choose to go through with the repair, the diagnostic fee is waived and will go towards the price of your repair.Brian S., Business Owner 15 hours ago."
On December 12, 2021, I received the Whirlpool OEM part, watched the repairclinic.com video, removed and replaced the part in ten minutes, and my washing machine is working like new.

Terrible Customer Service
Originally scheduled for a Monday to repair my microwave. Then rescheduled for Wednesday morning. Technician didn’t show; called office twice - on hold over 12 minutes each time. Office changed appt to afternoon. I requested to speak to mgmt - no one available! Owner finally called me and offered voucher for FUTURE service. I refused, stating I’ll never use this company again.

Where is my refund?
Mr. Appliance Logan UT - I gave them cash for a down payment on service. Ended up they would just charge service call and I was to receive a refund. Well, they do not answer emails or phone calls. I would just like my refund.

Not satisfied Mr.Appliance business practices.
Not impressed with my experience Mr Appliance.
I would like to make clear my technician David was courteous and friendly. I called because my Fridgidaire
double convection ovens has a error code F10 indicating unsafe operating condition very hot to the point of smoke alarms activated. My technician never inspected my stove he looked up code from manufacturers and told me my control modules needed to be replaced. The cost would be $925.00 plus tax
With a 10% surcharge for using American Express card
I think that’s taking advantage of customer.
Keep in mind he wasn’t certain that his trouble shooting
diagnosis would take care of the problem.
I had to pay this company 105.93 to give me this diagnosis. He was in my house maybe twenty five minutes that time was mostly waiting for his computer to load data he needed. He never inspected the oven
for any other possible problems.
